2018ローズのベースとなった世代、この頃には明確にローズをターゲットにしていたことがうかがえますね。1年生が加わってこの仕上がりは素晴らしい。 慶次郎さんの作品はいつも素晴らしいのですがこの映像は特に気に入ってます、未編集でこれだけの作品ということでセンスの高さが感じられます。

彼らはカッコ良さよりも大切なものを表現しているのだと感じます。人によってその感じ方は違いがあるでしょうが。私は彼らがマーチングを通して「外見より中身だよ」「人生を楽しもう」「あなたは一人じゃないよ。私たちがいるよ」など様々な問いかけを感じます。

This is such a talented group of performers. From Pimo, to the two xylophone players (Tippi and the other I don't know her name, but they are both rock stars), to the young lady on the snare, the colour guard, DM Ron on clarinet, the young lady with the prosthetic leg and all the others, they are truly awesome. Beautiful smiles, beautiful dancing, beautiful music, and all without skipping a beat or missing a note. Kyoto has something very special in this Tachibana SHS band.

I call lil, ( guess she is a grown woman now), Hitomi---"Girl with Heart of a Lion"---what a fighter she had to be all her life. From what I have gleamed, from various posts, she never asked for one ounce of pity, or even a tiny bit of acknowledgement for her struggle! The band tried to honor her with a title of Assistant DM, but she politely declined, preferring to continue playing her flute. Has anyone else in the band been honored in such a way? Truly, Truly a model for the Human Race to emulate:))

If you were to ask Paul Miller on this site, he can tell a lot more about the young lady, who stayed with his family whilst in Pasadena for the Rose Parades. I see now she is a Fire Angel for the Kyoto Fire Service band carrying a flag and dance routines in a uniform style mini skirt. A total hero, even if she modestly does like that attention 👏. Even now an inspiration to people who have a handicap 🤗

@@jameslipe210 Yes indeed, unfortunately I've come across quite a few people with much lessor handicaps that live in a shroud of negativity, but, who am I to judge anyone; I'm not the one with the handicap. Nevertheless, having seen numerous videos where she continually performed exquisitely together with the rest of the band, I'd vote her for the most inspirational person of the decade.

Those dance moves in 3:09 are unbelievable; I mean in unison, their playing and dance marching are unmatched by any marching band in USA.... the KTSHSB videos are hypnotically addicted...I think it’s the dancing that effects out psyche and keeps us mesmerized...great video....thank you

Indeed - almost every other band may be musically good, and march in step, throw in the occasional groove, and we see the color guards doing all the dance moves... but KT take it to the next level by getting the BAND to be the chorus line... do it whilst playing cheerful, recognizable tunes, AND cheerfully smile. I always come back to your video ..I like the way you follow the band.. I personally believe that this is the strongest and happiest group of the band...I don't blame those people following them for I will be one of them if i got the chance to be there....the band is like telling you " come follow us and we will give you a once in a lifetime entertainment with so much fun in a parade !".... Just watch this lady ( left side of your screen ) at 6:10, 16:20, 16:55 and follow her she dance like a member of the band !.... then the golden smile of Tippi at 8:00....Kyoto Tachibana you're the best !..nobody can immitate you !..Sugoi !

This dancing lady is the french horn leader of class112 (the year they won national gold) and on the opposite side the drum leader class112 in green jacket following the percussion team.

@@jameslipe210 Yup, they are close knit group. Fun fact, (A) the lady on the left at the front holding the signboard (Brass expo 2016) is Cony (drum major class 112)... (B) 17:37 the lady with white polka dot shirt (grey backpack in front) is trombone leader (class122) teasing Ron (class114 DM the middle clarinet player with bun hair) and the lady (with a clarinet) standing beside white polka dot shirt is class112 clarinet leader. :)

@@CaseyRoche That's true, former bandmates almost always support their former school band (see a lot of them in Sakura parade), in fact there is a few of them in this video following the band. For me the best Tachibana band was the class of 112 (2015) when they won the national gold, their performance on that day of competition was perfect! Musically pitch perfect with emotional highs and low, choreography all in sync. Great band!

I marched xylophone in parades in high school , it is so heavy , you would not believe. i am 61 years old , own and marched xylophone in a parade June in San Antonio Texas . It was 98 degrees that day , i only made it 8 blocks , i was about to faint . She is a strong young musician , very strong , luv it .

本質とは違う話題かも知れませんが、この時のメンバーはポニーテールの長い子が多かったという印象です。橘のパフォーマンスに併せて揺れるのが彼女達と一緒に踊っているようでとてもカワイイ。トロンボーン左三列目の子は橘ポニーテールの最長記録？、このパフォーマンスですから当然厳しい訓練を受けていることは分かりますが、髪形からは個人の自由も窺えると思います。
