It's a shame Thunderbolt is an alternate U.C. but those machines are pretty good. The Braw Bro from AoZ looks really cool to wipe out a whole fleet at once. If the red comet had piloted it it would make a OYW a last less than a week.

The Braw Bro is quite deadly, but unfortunately Amuro is depicted too OP by the time he fights the Braw Bro in the series. I particularly like the fight in Gundam Evolve 15, where you get and idea of how deadly it could have been against a regular fleet or a large number of non-newtypes.

Ugh yes in every timeline mobile armors are supposed to be amazing weapons that you need luck and the right tools to beat. But other then 00 and IBO mobile armors are more of a joke as when they do preform well on screen outside these two it is the pilots who are responsible.

It was such a pain in the ass to right in the federation vs zeon game on ps2 Lol but the mobile armor were all pretty unique.

Honestly even in Encounter in space, MAs ended up being cumbersome and far difficult to play than most MS. Nonetheless, they were really fun to play when it came to wipe out enemy fleets

I really like this machine since its a good comparison of just how far psycommu tech has come and wasnt just some goofy super power BS thrown in to later MS to make them cool. There is a real development history that occurred and it started out as massive clunky machines that could only control a couple remote devices

When I read about the Perfect Gundam merge with the Braw Bro, It became an Unstoppable Mobile machine and was able to wipe out New federation's mobile suits and manage to escape to reunite with the Southern Alliance team .

Amazing video! I really like the Braw Bro, but every time I see the original design can't help but see flaws in it after seeing many issues later versions corrected. When you mentioned the lack of mobility I then showed that it mainly had verniers on top, since the lower single gun turrets protruded from the equivalent sections on the bottom, I immediately wonder why they didn't put those perpendicular instead, which as you later showed, the Origin version did. The combination of double turret & single turret also seemed very odd, specially seeing that later versions either stuck with double turrets for all wired guns, or what the Evolve version did, making the double turrets be able to separate individual beam guns. Oddly enough, this version seems to have 4 double turrets, but only seems to operate 6 individual wired guns (there's one scene where it retracts all wired guns and then deploys them simultaneously, and I couldn't find a scene where it fire more than 6 simultaneous beams). Any idea if it was designed that way, perhaps with the side turrets having an unusable wired gun, or if perhaps we are supposed to assume that at that point 2 have already been shot down?

Do you think that thunderbolt and origin could ever be adjusted to fit in to normal uc? IMO yes, just make some of the design changes, early prototype variants (bugu), and as for the braw bro differences make them a v2 where in a last ditch effort zeon shoves all the guns on and hopes it works.

@@gundamfacts On a similar note, can you tell us more about the Zebra Zone & the Dark Tiger squadron? Whenever I check the CBV MS I see them among the different color schemes and keep wondering if there's more info on them. Similarly, was wondering if the Black Vanguard squadron had more lore to it than what was shown in the F91 movie. Lastly, I was very surprised to see how many variants the XM-07 Vigna Ghina has (I found at least 6, plus the original model), many of which got RE/100 model kits recently. Most of their other MS have 1, if not 0 variations.
