I like in that first game when Tireless Tracker was cast - clearly the player was expecting a moment of priority with which to do something, but as you were explaining a moment earlier this is an interaction of static abilities that mean the rules "clean up" creatures whenever they would exist with 0 (or less) toughness, not a triggered ability shrinking them upon entry

Personally, I would love to see you play Alania Divergent Storm or Vren the relentless. The reason being Vren is one I have heard no one talk about, and Alania mixes two of my favorite things, spell slinging and cute otters 😊. In Thunder Junction, Eriette would be cool to see.

I hate to be the 70th comment and break the funny number, but I gotta request Grolnok, the Omnivore given all the funny lil froggy guys we got recently. Mill 3 on a frog attack, but with instant access to permanents that are milled is suuuper strong. Man, I love frogs. My build is with minimal instants and sorceries, too. Just a few ramp spells and a couple of the stronger counterspells. You get some weird but fun removal and protection options when building like that too, such as Sugar Coat and Frilled Mystic, who sadly isn't a frog. :(

Really fan of those brawls videos. The only thing who bothers me are your opponents plays, brawl is a format where people play withtout skill and make the worst plays. Even if it's just for fun, it's sometimes boring the brainless plays^^ (I am speaking about your opponent, you Amazonian you try to do the most optimized play)

Not sure if you have aether snap in here or if it’s even in arena but it’s surprisingly good for maha. There’s so many +1/+1 counter shenanigans in the new set that help get around maha. I put that card in the deck in paper and it does well! Also gets rid of tokens and planeswalkers as a bonus (bye bye treasures and offspring tokens) 😮‍💨

One thing I will never comprehend: black was never a color that received the benefit of hexproof that often, why do they get the most punitive ward costs?

That's a great question, I think that they try to make the ward cost part of the theme of black, but it ends up being very oppressive.
