Also I know cave story is good and all but quote is quite lacking in character and personality which is why he is probably not really _that_ wanted by many people in smash. The songs however, in my opinion, DEFINITELY should be remixed in smash at least. Just imagine a stage of outerwalls in smash with Moonsong playing in the background.

I've got a doozy of a fighter idea for you: Dr. Wily & Robot Masters. In contrast to Dr. Eggman, who's used to fighting Sonic one-on-one with his Egg Mobile, Wily generally only engages Mega Man at the end of each game, piloting a Wily Machine or Wily Capsule. And while you could try to make a moveset out of that, I think there's a more exciting way to implement Wily in Smash by playing into the one thing he's best known for: Wreaking havoc with Robot Masters he's built or stolen. How to do this? By stealing a page out of Pokemon Trainer's book and ordering his robotic minions to do most of the fighting for him. Wily's team would consist of 4 (or 8, if you think that's manageable) Robot Masters that you can switch between using an interface similar to stage selection in Mega Man. The "Select Robot Master" command would be mapped to Shield + Special, leaving room for each Robot Master to have four specials. Now, which four (or eight) Robot Masters? Well, part of me would like to make Wily's team customizable by letting you select from a roster of Robot Masters; in fantasy dream land, _every_ Robot Master is available, from Cut Man all the way to Tundra Man. But more realistically, they'd probably go for 1-2 per game, if the team is customizable at all. So, question is: Who are the most popular Robot Masters, and who would be the most fun to play?

Oh, I am SO disappointed I missed the premiere this time around! In any case, this was a SPECTACULAR Christmas gift for me. It was interesting comparing this to my own Quote moveset. The neutral attack, forward tilt, up smash, neutral aerial, down aerial (well, the one you gave Curly), back throw, and up special were all the same, and I did consider something like your ideas for up tilt, back aerial, and side smash (for the latter in particular, I had the Spur be the Final Smash). I also had Curly be an Alph-esque alternate model instead of an Echo. Even some of the colors were inspired by the same things, and I also used the "look to background" taunt. Overall, this was a great moveset. I might even like it more than my own (I was obsessed with cramming in every single weapon Quote had, trying to balance their representation properly, and adhering strongly to very specific move concepts). As for future requests, Cadence (Crypt of the NecroDancer), Neku (The World Ends With You), Lloyd (Tales of Symphonia), and Gordon Freeman (Half-Life).

Fun moveset idea for: Grimm the troupe is summoned to battle as Grimm refers to the fight with the knight as a waltz, I figured that an almost-dance like movement might work well on Grimm (this will only be visible in a few attacks but instead the pacing of a fight with Grimm, also a lot of this won't have much reference to the source material based on how little there is). A lot of Grimm's attacks will be very telegraphed but will be more powerful than most. the key to the fight is getting a good rhythm against Grimm's attacks, almost like a violent dance with him, and going out of pace with him leading to deadly results. movement info: 2 jumps and no additional movement options basic attacks: jab: a 2 hit jab that leads into a rapid jab. a single claw-swipe forward, followed by a claw-swipe with his other hand before surrounding the foe with his cape and dealing damage through his rapid-jab. the rapid jab cannot be escaped by foes but will instead automatically launch them after 10/15% or if Grimm lets go of the button. dash attack: Grimm forms a drill with the front of his cloak and dashes forwards, going a fair distance, surprisingly little start and end lag (very similar to the second part of his Dive Dash attack from his boss fight). forward-tilt: a simple spinning-kick with one of his legs. up-tilt: Grimm raises his claws upwards, dealing knockback before lowering them back down. the lowering of his claws acts as a weak hitbox that does non-flinching damage. down-tilt: Grimm gets low to the ground and snaps his fingers as a small burst of flames appears infront of him. forward-smash: Grimm holds part of his cloak forward as a small geyser of flames appears inside it (roughly the same height as Grimm himself, combining the start-up animation of his Fire Bats and Nightmare King's Flame Pillar attack) up-smash: Grimm moves into the z-axis and a small bit of flames appears on the ground infront of him, before turning into a giant pillar of flames (nearly as tall as Palutena's up-smash) down-smash: Grimm's cloak stabs into the ground before emerging as spikes on either side of him. (referencing his cloak spike attack) neutral-air: Grimm inflates his body into a balloon and deals weak knockback and damage (the only way I can think of including his Pufferfish attack). forward-air: Grimm does a spin before doing a left-to-right kick with one of his legs. back-air: Grimm does a spin before doing a right-to-left kick with one of his legs. up-air: an improvised attack where Grimm briefly spins upside down, surrounds himself in his cloak and performs a drill-kick upwards down-air: Grimm wraps his cape around himself and then dashes downward at an angle, if he hits the stage or platform and the attack button is pushed during his dash downwards, he will automatically perform his dash attack with no start-lag (his dash attack from this will go in the direction of the closest foe, and it is possible to see if he selected to do this by a puff of fire coming from Grimm during his descent) grab: (these will all be themed around waltz movements to some degree) Grimm grabs with one hand and jabs with a knee-hit. forward-throw: Grimm performs a circular spin with the foe before tossing them forwards at the end of it. back-throw: Grimm dips the foe low to the ground before pushing them back upright and away from him. up-throw: Grimm lifts the foe and spins with them, only to launch them up and out his arms with a flame-pillar at the height of their lift. down-throw: Grimm starts to dip the foe, only to let go partway through and let them fall to the ground before bouncing them away with a cloak spike. special attacks: neutral-special: Grimm opens his cloak forward as fire bats emerge from it, these will loosely track the foe closest infront of them. for each bat spawned, a pillar of flames will appear just infront of Grimm that deals weak damage. side-special: Grimm skitters away on all-fours for a set distance before returning to a normal state, if another special button is pressed during this skitter, Grimm will transition straight into that attack (in the case of neutral-special or up-special, he will do it in the direction of the closest foe). up-special: Grimm performs his Dash Uppercut attack, but at the height of his uppercut, one of 2 affects will happen. If the analog stick is being held upwards or not being held in any direction, Grimm will split into 5 fireballs that fall downwards, if one of these fireballs touches an object (be it a platform, a fighter or an item), Grimm will reform, if multiple fireballs touch an object at the same time, Grimm will appear at one randomly and the rest will fall as weak hitboxes. if the analog stick is being held downwards, Grimm will float in the air as a pillar of fire starts to form underneath each foe before erupting upwards as a strong hitbox, leaving behind a small amount of flames on the ground for a few seconds, afterwards Grimm will enter freefall Gimmick: Grimm has a special meter that triggers upon activation of his down-special, starting at phase 1 (the meter taking the appearance of the Grimmchild Charm and all its forms) Down-Special: "Grimmkin summons", randomly on the stage (will always spawn at a position Grimm can recover from), A Grimmkin will spawn in that shoots a slow-moving set of fireballs straight forward (this will always take the shape of their Hollow Knight attacks), if Grimm comes into contact with the Grimmkin (be it through knockback or jumping into it), it will be absorbed and the meter will be upgraded. if Grimm absorbs 2 Grimmkin, then the final one will spawn in the middle of the stage and Grimm will have a choice to make. if he touches the final Grimmkin within 20 seconds of it spawning he will become Nightmare King Grimm (NKG, but only shown through red dreamcatcher particles and the Grimmchild icon turning into its final form and not an appearance change since NKG is a costume/skin) and gain a speed and power boost to all his attacks, but if the Grimmkin isn't absorbed after 20 seconds it will disappear and his meter will take on the form of the Carefree Melody charm (I know Grimm doesn't give you the charm but its important for the movese) and Grimm will become slightly slower and gain more endlag however he gains a chance to ignore the damage and knockback from attacks, this chance becoming more common the more hits he takes that stock. Grimm cannot restart this cycle and is locked into whichever ending he takes. Each Grimmkin will also despawn after 20 seconds if Grimm doesn't touch it (however the 1st and 2nd Grimmkin don't force Grimm into Carefree Melody). I’ve requested in the past, mainly for Terrarian, from Terraria, but since then I’ve also had 3 other ideas for interesting characters, I want you to come up with your own ideas and such, but here was my main concept for why they WOULD be good picks for moveset’s: -The Messenger (The Messenger has the main concept of being how the world for him kinda swaps regularly between styles making new things appear or adding unique circumstances to prior existing stuff in the other style, perhaps he could add new things to the stage when being played, like the little transformational blue line in the middle of the stage that when crossed gives him different variations to his move set like in the game! Switching styles could also have a lot of influence on his taunts and color variations as well! We have also never had a character that truly makes the stage apart of their entire moveset depending on the stages format! It would be super interesting to see how it could be incorporated!) -Specter Knight (Specter Knight could be awesome to see as the first ever hybrid of a heavy weight with a more floaty moveset, as in the games he has a good amount of weight destroying dirt for instance when hopped on, he also has the feature on how he locks on to foes, maybe playing into air attacks as well like Sonic! Making him a heavy you actually want to use primarily in the air and create combos with rather than him just being super strong, he could even have some powerful Curios on his side as special attacks that need to recharge with his will meter! Maybe recharging after hitting efficient combos!) -Kratos (Now I am a Xbox geek and would say Master Chief but to be fair he has a bit more in common with Doom Guy who I know you’ve covered, so I would still love to see Kratos, now one reason he would be cool is A. Most of the time we either get heroes or villains, Kratos would be interesting as he’s more of a guy that does what he feels is in his best interest, plus with him being.. well.. Kratos, he could also easily be another heavy with some seriously interesting mechanics besides being just super strong, like my reasoning for suggesting Specter, (his main weapon depends on which variation you chose I suppose) it would be sick to see him use the Leviathan axe that’s normally used for brutal combos! It could be the key weapon that is used in smash attacks, AI rituals, and can also be utilized in special attacks with its freezing properties as well, plus if you don’t want to make his Ace all the rage than he already has a bunch of equipment so you could easily find interesting specials around every corner! Now feel free to judge me, but I also feel like if any PlayStation rep should be incorporated it should be him, with his diversity and unique history he would be a sick character to see in smash, and while everyone would probably prefer Crash to be honest he’s kinda dime a dozen with all the characters we already have, and although I suppose that’s kinda what the Smash roster had its entire base built upon, seeing as Snakes kinda alone in the more risky human character department it would be cool to see!)

I would also love to see you do Robin from Iconoclasts, she has some really excellent moves that would totally work for Smash! And also the game is one of my favorites (in my top 3; along with Cave Story and Ori). Move set examples for Robin: 1. Normal Melee Attack: Uses her wrench as her melee weapon, can do a spin/charge up attack, which also electrically charges her. This allows her to produce electric melee attacks once charged, and will last for a few seconds. 2. Has a gun attack, and can switch between her 3 classic ranged weapons: the bomb gun (which can fit through tight spaces), the normal pistol, which allows for general ranged attacks, and the usurper gun, which allows her to switch places with the enemy. 3. Has 3 tweaks that affect her stats, and every time she takes enough damage, the tweaks break. The more time she hits the enemy, the more she regenerates her tweaks. Tweaks can be taken straight from the base game. 4. Her final smash would be her use of the charged wrench, and she would hook on to a wire that zaps her around quickly (look at the Carver boss fight from the original game), while holding her enemy. Once the charge wears off, she throws the enemy up into the air and as they fall down, she knocks them away with her wrench.

Assist trophy idea: Mangle (Five Nights at Freddy’s) They will slowly crawl around the stage, biting foes if they get near, and they are able to crawl on walls. However, both the opponent and the player who summoned Mangle are able to deal damage to them. But instead of being KO’d, Mangle will break apart into multiple pieces including the head, all the pieces can be picked up and thrown at the opponent and player like King K Rool. While the head itself doesn’t really do much damage to the person who summoned them, if it’s thrown at an opponent, it’s head will latch on the foe then knocking them away with a powerful bite. Dealing massive damage.
