Bit late, but I am working on a bokoblin moveset myself. I mainly took inspiration from botw, though several moves reference other games. The dash attack is one of the few innovated moves, having a tree randomly spawns out of nowhere, and the bokoblin will run into the tree, as it will not realize the tree is there until it's too late.

@Emil Ahtiainenyes that could work I could also see him pulling out pots with plants in them to use for his attacks and for his neutral special that would work like Pac-Man's where bar above him that features some plants that he could plant like the peashooter, corn pult, potato mine, one of the mushrooms and chomper and that he could upgrade them But to pick one of these plants he would have something like cloud's limit where a bunch of suns will come to him and give him enough to plant some of these plants, but it would have some endlag the more you charge

Toad and Pheonix Wright would be great I had an idea for Toad where for most of his moves he utilizes the vast catalog of Mario power-ups! Since, Mario doesn't really use any other than fire balls (and even then its debatable since Mario can use fire in games like Mario and Luigi) and Toads often man the item houses. Just a thought

I did not get to watch this live sadly because of work but it was still great. I was a bit skeptical at first because it is just a slime, but I love Piranha Plant and I love the combination of a bunch of different types of Piranha Plants in smash, so I really liked the slime move set. It turned out really well and it is just another testament to BJ’s creativity. I am going to stop my normal same five or so characters that I request because I know you have seen them. But I had a dream last night where the character you did was Ben 10 and I realize that he would never make it in Smash but that dream made me want Ben 10 in smash so... I’ll just add another character to the list of “But they could make it in, maybe, ok Character revel time come on please give me my character! What another fire emblem character! Ahhhhhhhhh!” This was my reaction to Corin getting in smash, except just replace the no name characters with Bandana Dee.

What about N? He'd be a sick Pokemon trainer. And If we're doing non video game characters just for fun like goku, Danaerys from GoT is a possibility, with the three dragons. They won't be as basic as you think either. The move ideas I have especially for the specials actually function in very unique ways. The dragons will each be their own playstyles, which could be many different things. This is just a touch to separate each one from each other, because they all do the same things in their source material.

Maybe we can have something like this: Scout (Left) Soldier (Left and Diagonally downwards) Heavy (Down) Medic (Right and Diagonally Downwards) Spy (Right) You can change classes by maybe using the Down Special and holding it Down. If thats the case, we could also try include all of the classes. But them 5 classes specifically will have the most drastic changes. If its just them 5 characters, Soldier could use some of Demoman's weapons for attacks

If I could throw a Suggestion, I would say either Quote from Cavestory or The Kid from Bastion. Both are Indie icons that are playable on Nintendo Consoles (Cavestory 3D on 3ds and the like) and they're kinda icons of the indie market. Close to the best two representatives for the indie genre, I'd say.

Now allow me to spit ball some ideas. -Kratos (God of War 2018) He could be very unique in having three fighting styles; Axe, Fists & Shield, and the blades of Chaos. He could also have Atreus attack from the background and use Spartan rage. -Any Mortal Kombat Kharacter -Heavy (Team Fortress 2) -Crazy Dave(Plants vs Zombies) -Mach Rider -An Echo fighter Lightning Round(Just make a bunch of ideas for echos of the already existing roster) -Doom Slayer(DOOM) -Galeem(Sounds weird, but it's just for shi*ts & giggles) -Tha Vault Dweller(Fallout) -Dovahkiin(Elder Scrolls: Skyrim) -A World of Warcraft Rep -A FNAF Rep(I know... shameless, but the VR game got me interested in the series again.) And Finally -The Tetris Blocks (That would be a real challenge)

I feel like the down smash could've been the bubble slime dissolving into the ground, being a puddle. Also doing poison damage, the longer you charge the longer it becomes a puddle

speaking of slimes, what about Beatrix Lebeau from Slime Rancher(or the various slimes)? She can fire various slimes and plorts for different attacks, like using boom slimes for a blast attack or (if you go with the slimes themselves) a rock slime for a dash attack, and maybe somehow creating a mosaic gordo for the final smash

Yeah and his gimmick could be that he can convert an item into one from his game for example fire flower=flame tears and soccer ball=bouncing tears and he could turn into azazel for his foward smash and guppy's head could be his down special, so in short I think Issac has a ton of moveset potential

Episode 2 of, requesting a what if the other shovel knight knights were in smash? Previously, I said spectre knights victory animation was badass and also, his movement would be pretty easy. Today, I'm going to push treasure knight because he wasn't a colour option in the shovel knight vid. Treasure knight has a hook cannon arm thing. That is very cool and could make for interesting grab and recovery play. Also, his final smash could be the giant fish, or his treasure chest which sucks things in. Wait for the next what if video to see which knight I'm going to pick next.

I have an idea for a character. Jonesy from Fortnite. I don't like Fortnite, but I can't deny the game has made an impact on society over the past 2 years. He would be kinda like Little Mac but with mostly projectiles and a good recovery, not very good at air combat however. Rather than fighting in the air, he would utilize a lot of long range guns.
