Is Phazon’s comfort dodge downwards? It feels like he dodges down a lot, unless that’s his initial “bait” dodge to force his opponents into predictable adaptation.

Against some attacks/weapons (like gaunts side light) it puts him in a better position if they dont react or learn to read the down dodge

I main volkov (lvl 86), I don't think he's underrated at all, the issue is that you have to be so much better than the opponent simply because you're on crutches (4 or 3 I forgot speed), good luck if you're against katars or boots because it's just game over. I just enjoy him because that was my first ever character but if you want to make it past 2300 (where I got him) there's just simpy better characters Edit: don't get me started on 8 dex scythe moves getting beaten out by lower dex that start AFTER mine but thats more beef with the game in general and the absolute meaninglessness of dex

dex is only significsnt in very edge cases or in mirror matches 😢 I got Magyar to 2100 but i feel like if I keep trying I could totally get to 2300+

thought of a cool challenge idea you could make into a vid where you try to get diamond, or as high as you can go, with either not taking over a certain amount of total dmg like 100k or smtg (idk haven’t don’t any math for it) or getting diamond with the lowest damage dealt possible, also with a threshold.
