@@mandras6319 you have to get read at least 3 times in a row in a single string in order to successfully get a 0 to death on lance, and that's considering you hit a sidelight on the edge, which would make it 3 moves, not 4. All the aereal attacks are jumpable and you can fast fall out of if you already spent your dodge, so... don't use your dodge like an idiot and you'll be fine.

best spear play? that's a far shot, and lance is broken. it's the easiest weapon to use and literally requires no skill, while being extremely strong, fairly impossible to dodge if you get caught in their sweep attacks, his movement was very good though, but to say his spear play is ss tier is a stretch

I'm simply stating that while Sting Ray did use a ton of sigs, they wouldn't have worked well if he wasn't good at using them and avoiding being punished too badly.

Imma give props to Stingray for popping outta nowhere and winning Sandstorm and all but... I feel like Sandstorm lost that last match cause of tilt. Sting was legit spamming the last 2 stocks. Sandstorm is usually calm in these situations and excels at taking an advantage of his opponents stress. Doesn’t work when Orion is spamming nair and sigs with lance tho.....

You can call it a lame tactic if you want, but if he managed to tilt the opponent that way, its his opponent fault for letting it tilt himself (we’re all humans and that can happen to all of us, but you can understand my point), stingray then, did well capitalizing on his opponent mistakes/tilting. Atleast thats how I see it

Sting Ray was, and is, amazing. I main Orion since I started playing this game and have got him to high platinum. Thank god this guy played tournaments I finally have someone to watch and learn from im still annoyed when I 3 stock someone and they call me spammer (in a match where I didn't use his sigs xd)
