I think a neat thing they could do is have the strap hung above the ring before everyone shows up. While the show is going on when the fiend hits the ring he can do some gesture and the strap gets lowered like he is summoning it.

What do you think about The Fiend giving the Universal Championship to Bray Wyatt and that is why it is in the Firefly Fun House? Perhaps The Fiend simply wants to hurt people and does not care about championships so when he won it he gave to Wyatt? Maybe the next time The Fiend wrestles he will not have a championship belt at all.
