DEAL! I'll keep the special Macerator frock handy for you to use. I find it very strange that the wiring is almost an afterthought. It's not a problem for most of us, but it's not the most user friendly for somebody that's not a DIY'er.

So, I know this video is a few months old now and you may have learned this already, but one of the things I learned after using our macerator all last summer (moochdocking) was it can create a bit of suction and cause the black tank to jam up. I've found two ways to unjam this: 1) run the black tank flush (if you have that); the water build up will be enough to get things going again; or 2) The macerator has a backflush connection on it (comes with a backflow preventer adapter). You turn off the macerator and run the backwash, which is essentially doing your other hose trick, and let that run for a few minutes, kill the water, hit the pump and your back in business. Its a great tool, just has a little quirk to adjust to. :) Oh, and we ran 12v down our frame to 12 outlets for ours, as we have 2 sewer connections for 4 tanks. I put spade connections on the wires to make it portable and adaptable. :)

🤣 How the heck did I miss this one. I thought I watched all your videos as well as you high school videos. LOL You are TOO funny. Several times I just shook my head looking at you. No wonder Nat drinks. HAHA I need to get one of these since we are heading east from Washington State to, ND, MI, OH, WVa and then NC. Not sure what we will do on the way back but we will be hitting a lot of the beautiful locations on the way home, west bound and down (Smokey and the Bandit) Hint. After you dump your black tank, leave it open and close your gate valve. Then open your gray tank and allow the gray water to back flush into the black tank. It will loosen "things" and adds water to help clean your black tank. Close your gray valve and open the gate valve gain, draining the black tank. Close your black tank valve and dump your gray tank, rinsing your "things" out of the sewer hose. I do this each time I drain the black tank. I have the cleanest black tank in the park 💩😇 Its No Big Deal! kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6HQdnaBeq2Gh9U

Would repeated use cause a potential poop dam? Just wondering since you are not getting an real "flush" of the tank, I wonder if any backlog might build up..... I want to get one and wonder if it could be better to open the valve and dump into a honey wagon, then run this pump from the honey wagon to the septic line.
@BrazenBrits2 жыл бұрын
Hi Guy, sorry for the delay in replying. There definitely is potential for this to create a poop pyramid, but we don’t use this often and we also use the black tank flush to refill and rinse again. I suspect that you are spot-on using the honey wagon method though 👍
