Was the best team Denmark has ever had and one of the best teams Brazil had as well, i watched this live in my living room and i accidently smashed a flower pot celebrating the goals with my dad, i don't think i've ever felt more proud of being Danish than in that very moment. We also have to remember Morten Olsen which was the best manager Denmark has had period. To get any balls past the worlds best goalkeeper is an achievement in itself, some still consider him the best even today just because of his height, wingspan and reaction time. I've seen Peter saving the most impossible balls of any goalkeeper. Even though we lost, we made sure that they will remember our little country for the years to come.

It was a clear penalty, stop messing about this 26 years on. Further on, Junior Baiano was the one who pulled the shirt of Flo, and he NEVER complained to the referee because it WAS a penalty. The picture taken by swedish television shows very clearly how Junior Baiano pulls Flo's shirt very hard from behind, which makes Flo fall before he manages to receive the ball from Erik Mykland. I was a kid back then and I remember as a brazilian being VERY afraid of that goalkeeper who had quite a reputation even here in Brazil. Great game to watch, nowadays I think this Brazil team wasnt that much defensive sound. But anyways, Rivaldo was one of the greatest Ive seen.

If that world cup had a better final I have no doubt that it would had easily been considered the best at the time along with 1982 and 1970. A world cup with many fascinating matches, a lot of goals, many great teams (not a single big abscence), many great footballers (perhaps the largest amount ever along with 2006) and lastly a flawless tournament in terms of organization from the French with beautiful and crowded stadiums in almost every game

Nope, Denmark was a better team and proved it on 6/28/1994. Final score 1-4. Don’t forget Nigeria also lost to Paraguay in the final game of the group stage. They were not the Super eagles of 1996 and 1994.
