Feijoada, a stew made of beans and meats, is considered by many to be the most typical dish in Brazil, being elevated even as a symbol of the country.(
The feijoada in this video was made next to the Public Market in Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, in a solidarity initiative with some people linked to the culture and cuisine of Rio Grande do Sul, such as the roaster Renê Barbachan (Barbachan Comida Creole), Kleber Magalhães (Assador parrilero - Comparsa), and others, in addition to the Martinelli law firm, which contributed with food and also with employees helping with the work.
There were more than 90 kilos of meat, more than 90 kilos of beans, 70 kilos of rice, in addition to flour and bread. In the end, it all resulted in a feijoada of almost 400 kilos, distributed to the most needy or to anyone who wanted to taste the taste of food made with great dedication and volunteer work.
