Those roots that look like a pair of legs, to bad you could not find a rock to put between them. It would make a nice root over rock since the roots are curving down. Just a thought. Tree looking good after the pruning. Great viewers pics.

I really doubt you would have killed that tree. I mean, what you do to roots always makes me gasp and it always works out. And then you go and chop it down anyway. Well done! Cheers, Colleen and Jason

🌟Ha ha, thanks Jason & Colleen. These trees are pickier than my usual ones… so I would have very likely killed it. Fingers crossed it will survive still. I had it outside overnight and we dropped down to 5C.. brrr.

I would have killed this tree for sure.😬 A lesson I’ve found impossible to learn (so far) is sometimes roots that appear to be unworkable can become quite a nice feature in the future. Good choice with the pot as well. Thanks, keep growing
