Incredible! I got some full dimension 2"x5"x4' Brazilian rosewood myself! No clue what to use it for yet.

Be careful. I worked with Brazilian rosewood every day for 6 years. My allergy became more and more pronounced until finally I had to stop. The dust was slowly killing me. And I had a large dust collection system and wore face-masks.

Ahh those were the good old days... Making a fret board from Brazilian Rosewood now a days is a much more expensive choice of material, if you can find the wood...

jacaranda is a gorgeous tree! I have seen some websites that call jacaranda Brazilian Rosewood. However, I believe it is some other type of wood.

@@woodsoundsflutes jacaranda refers to the popular name, Bahia refers to the native state, also havia jacaranda Paulista( state of São Paulo) and jacaranda mineiro(state of Minas Gerais) being jacaranda of Bahia the most beatiful.

@@woodsoundsflutes we make mano musical intruments also with jacaranda root, but popular called radica jacaranda, which has a magnificent coloration, search on you tube: viola rádica jacaranda.

@@woodsoundsflutes unfortunately this wood protected by stritic laws and its straction and trade is prohibided. It can only be anchieved througt demolition wood or when the free is in danger of falling.
