I bought a 2 year old Zoe GT LINE in August 23 with 9k on the clock. I love this and have doubled the mileage but last night it had a catastrophic explosion in the transmission, leaving no drive, even after switching off there was the sound of swirling metal noise. Had it been an ice car I would have sworn the prop shaft had dropped off and a piston had come through the crank case! Looking under the Zoe and past the wheels there was no external damage! It's under warranty so I'm expecting it to be put right free of charge I'm hoping they will swap the whole unit out, so they can send it back to Renault to see why it happened! I believe GKN made these units for Renault.

How much would it cost to pre-emptively replace the the Zoe motor bearings at the Hevra Garage you took yours to?

JP are these Leafs not expensive considerign they goign for £16k no brand new just registered? I have no experience with the Zoe, but have watched your videos on it with the bearing issue. If its good enough for your mum its good enough for me. Just looking a 2nd samller car to run around we do less than 20 miles per day.

£7900 for a 70 plate Zoe?! Not much more than you paid and less miles. If right Model Y went through Shoreham would you travel down and put the eNiro through the same day towards it?! Good video content, include hotel deals booked in advance, that kind of thing. Not sure how quickly could set up Model Y on the app, good content as well. Easy return home North too.

Good idea, id like to keep the e niro , and buy a MY from Shoreham of course. Im hanging on now for a MY RWD LR, probably see them in around 12 months time at auction !

Can ordinary members of the public go to and bid at shoreham vehicle auctions? I did email them a query but never got a response

Shoreham is normally a trade only auction, although I don't know if they have non trade days.
