So basically with the power module you can power your circuit with either 5 volts or 3.3 volts or three volts and that's it. Am I right 👍 are there more purposes of the breadboard module?

This one comes with a DC barrel jack, so, you need to supply 7V - 12V (check DC voltage on the module) via a DC barrel plug. If you want to use a USB cable then you need a USB based power supply module.
