We have breadfruit in Nigeria but people never eat it, but I remember that in 1980's the government tried to encourage people to eat it. Still date no or very few people eat it. Thank you for your video, I will surely try it again.

Oh this is really interesting to know. Is it that people there believe it is not a healthy fruit or can cause health issues? I also heard you don’t eat cassava (boil, roast or fried) as well, you only use if for fufu or gari.

Roasted and Fried Cassava I never seen or heard of it. But few people do boil and eat a special red cassava. Mainly in Nigeria will use cassava for Garri and Fufu.

The breadfruit is a common thing here in Bim, we cook it, roast it, make cou-cou (like Banku) but personally I have not seen it in the form of chips.

Oh we do that here too. We roast whole and eat with butter/palm oil. It is delicious!
