The small metal rack is a magazine rack. Alex is correct- it stands on the 2 long sides. The magazines hang over on the 3 rods-open the magazines and put them on the rods with the staples facing up. Library reading rooms used to use this style a lot.

I had that exact wooden rack for my kids when they were little. It came with multi-colored plastic bins that you sort their toys into. It was great for little things, like toys from fast food kid's meals, small cars, etc... A crafter might like something like this to hold supplies. I know you can buy replacement bins for it too.

The item that you got for scrapping is a ball valve. It looks to be stainless steel. You should get top price for stainless. The soda cans from the first dumpsters are also scrapable as well as the wire and other metals in that dumpster. Anything metal can be sold for scrap.

The wooden thing was an easel. You screw each leg together, one goes back and the others go forward. Then the pieces hanging on the chain go across to hold the canvas. All should screw in and out with wing nuts so it can be folded up for storage. 😅

I love diving for scrap. All types of metals can be scrapped to recycle. Take a magnet with you when you dive. Anything non-magnetic will probably pay higher, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, etc. copper is a very high paying metal. If you see items with cords, if nothing else cut and take the cords and depending on the wire, it may be insulated copper wire, which pays well. Magnetic metal is the lowest paying metal but there are large quantities of it to scrap because so many metals we find are magnetic (steel). Thank y’all for always giving us wonderful videos to watch. Always looking forward to the next one!

Great dive! I think the metal rack stands like Alex said and there is supposed to be a canvas bag that hangs from it. Like the middle bar is how you pick it up, the canvas bag attaches to the outer bars and the two bottom bars stabilize it to stand upright. Think of a canvas laundry hamper only smaller. I have a very small one that I use in my craft room.

Wow what a great dive today!! I would use that gold metal rack to hang towels over maybe?? I can see where you're getting a 'magazine rack' from but yeah I don't think that's what it's for. Yup. Appears to be scrappable. Bonus...also from the gold/yellow color where the coating has been scraped off it appears to be brass which is more money. Copper and brass are highest pay. A magnet will tell you if it is something other than steel. A pair of side cut pliars are your friend when it comes to making quick money from scrap by clipping off cords from appliances etc. Clip off cord and clip off the plug end and they are ready to go. Cords are usually copper which = $$$. Simple easy money. Great video!!
