Dumpster Diving at Stores! We Find Candy, Food, and Get Oreo Obsessed!

Hey y'all and welcome back to our channel! We went back to the dumpster we recently found al those chocolates in, and we found MORE candy! It was a great dive, and finding all of those Oreo cups was fun 😂 We washed them all and will be donating them to the thrift store.. hopefully someone truly Oreo Obsessed will snag them!

We had the glass oreo cup and we used the cookie holder all the time, that's what makes it fun for the kids, you should have taken them all

The Oreo cups, glasses n cookie holders would be something to give kids when they come to talk garage sales! They would think that was something awesome! Every child loves anything to do with an OREO COOKIE !😊

You can still use the candles with the broken glass. Just put them into another container er. Hated to see you leave those if they smelled good. ♥️

You can take the candles out of their containers and still use them by putting them in or on something else

Absolutely! You can even cut them into chunks for a wax warmer.

I cut up our candles & put pieces in the warmer .. open flame & cats don’t always mix! My Maine coon caught his tail on fire 🔥 when he brushed by a lit candle in the table! Got it put out , but Lordy NOTHING stinks worse than burnt cat hair! The candle warmer is a great alternative to open flame !

You can also put the broken candles maybe in a small box I. The freezer and it free it from the glass just put in something so the glass don't grt scattered in your freezer.

Put candles in the freezer, makes them easy to get out of the glass jars etc.

Candles, Id take them and pop them in a large mason jar, if you are worried about glass.

Why don't you get the candles and cut them up to make wax melts or put them in another jar or candle holder.

Totally agree... Freeze the candle slides out of the glass. Put in another glass and there you go

When you find a good bag of stuff, just pull it out of the dumpster and go through it. Then throw the rest of the trash back in the dumpster. Its called work smart not hard. Lol. The lids are awkward but not all that heavy. Better to open the lid all the way, then you can work faster. Keep on diving. Good job. So much good stuff the stores just throw our. My last dive, i found 3 large, sealed cases of individually wrapped candy canes. Over 1,000 candy canes. They dont even expire till Dec. 2024. Have fun, bee safe.

Nah you don’t want ppl thinking you’re dumping your trash in the businesses’ trash can. Stores get v mad at it plus in most states it’s a literal crime. And usually when you’re “caught” they don’t care to listen to your story

Hi, dumpsters in my area are locked. I ask for cardboard and Styrofoam from packaging to make various holiday decorations. Even tops from dried markers and glue sticks make stampers. Tina, Al's wife

If you use things to prop open the lids, be careful you don’t bump it. If the lid comes down on your head/neck, you will KNOW it

Love watching u guys! What everyone else said about saving the candles & putting them in the freezer 30-60 min to get the glass off and then putting them in another container to burn.... Also a lot of times u can find a skinny wood stick in the trash and if u save it u can use it to easily prop open the lid & doesnt take up much space in the vehicle!

I really think that's stores that set up in communities could do a better job donating their unsellable items to the communities they are in. And not just destroy it to increase the items in the local landfills. And support the community by donating usable items to community pantries. It would show they support the communities they do business in.

Take the broken candles. You can use the wax in your wax melt!

Canned goods are safe if they’re dented however, you need not to eat them if it’s a seam because if you dent or puncture a seam things can get in there and spoil it and make it or you can get very sick

Nice dive . Candles always dump the glass and take them all . Can use old dish to burn them on . I always find a dish in the dumpster and reuse it for the broken candles . It's a shame the stores waste so much food that could help people struggling .... enjoy the dive .... thanks for sharing

Dumpster diving is so much fun…especially at craft stores like JoAnnes, or Michaels…the things you find are amazing…you just can’t get caught. My sister and I got caught one time, and we said, oh…we’re moving and looking for boxes…(wondering how many times employees have heard that one before 🙄😂) only to be told we couldn’t do it and had to leave. But drugs stores are pretty cool too. You can come across expensive make-up, hair care and facial products, etc… gosh it’s so much fun bc you never know what you’ll find 💯❤️

Flip the lid over quietly...but be extra careful because it is dangerous to let that fall on your head! It will cause severe neck bones compression and you WILL end up in the ER! Just be careful!
