Filling the Free Pantry and Donating Clothes We Found Dumpster Diving!

Hi y'all!! We had a great morning donating food and clothes we've found recently. While we were filling the free pantry, a woman came up and gave us $20 to buy more food to donate!! It was so kind of her to do that and we enjoyed getting to pick out some items at the store to fill up the pantry even more. We hope you enjoy coming along with us - we don't always show this part of our "dumpster diver daily life" so it was fun to do so today. Have a great day and we'll see you tomorrow!! x

A fellow Dentonite here, if you ever find there’s no room to put the cleaning supplies in the free pantry, the city has a Home Chemical Collection service that will take anything that’s not expired and is still sold in stores. All Denton residents have access to the ReUse Store at no charge - cleaning supplies, fertilizer, spray paint, etc. It’s located at the landfill.

Great job getting all the donations to where they need to be. The free blessing box looks great after you put more things in it. special thanks to the wonderful lady who made the gift for the blessing box and you added more so there would be some nutritional goodies to eat.Leaving the coffee and backpack will come in handy. Saving the small condiments packs were a good idea. Also they could use plastic utensils always. My daughter used to donate her time at a local homeless shelter they really needed feminine hygiene products,razors, hand sanitizers Essential items such as shampoo’s,conditioner’s, toothpaste,toothbrushes, soap.

Canned meats like chicken, tuna, and Vienna sausages. Always a hit for the pantry. Toilet paper and cat paper towels are always a good donation.
