My fears, anxiety are that crippling that I cant even switch my equipment on anymore. I feel completely overwhelmed by the size of the learning curve ahead of me.

thanks for the vid...and to add to the message: "Ambient is very beginner-friendly"....anything is possible, anything goes...in the immortal words: "Just do it"...

I still remember when you announced you were launching your very successful Patreon. It was an instant join and being a little part of your dream is also my dream. Being part of the community and seeing the community grow is such an extraordinary gift! P.S. I'm thinking an interview with Carbon Based Lifeforms and Solar Fields could be next on your other channel called "Harmonic Horizons Podcast".

Getting the whole package here, proper synthesizer gibberish galore plus some compassionate wisdom ... this is premium content on youtube.

Great topic, great message, amazing demo of creating something beautiful out of nothing. Here’s a self limiting belief: Izotope Stutter Edit is difficult to use in ambient. 😅

Hi Chris , amazing this tutorial!! I just love that you use Phase Plant, amazing synth. Do you have a link to purchase the Wavetable? I like the sound you use a lot! Compliments to your work and a big thanks

Dude I love your channel but I have a request ❤: Could you maybe do a series where you explain all the basic vocabulary associated with ambient and various plug-ins and so on. Its nice to have someone show you what you can with these DAWs, but half of the time I have no idea what the settings you are tweaking do or even mean. A series or even a paid course explaining these things would be really awesome and highly appreciated ❤❤❤

You'd LOVE my Patreon. Just saying! For real though, I like that idea. I just released my Mixing and Mastering course. I'll do a "Ambient for Beginners" course next.

I love the sound design part of ambient music. But i never really listen to it, so i dont really have any idea how to shape an ambient track. Like does it have the traditional thjngs you find in songs? Is there a chorus and verse or is it just evolving ambience the whole time
@s1gns0fl1fe2 ай бұрын
It can! It all depends on how you want to structure it. Listen for yourself and see. I'd start with Steve Roach.

@s1gns0fl1fe ill give it a try. I first found your videos when I was trying to decide if I was gonna pick up steric (which I love and use often). Even tho I mostly make more of a jazzy hip hop edm fusion, I have got alot of good stuff from your content, so I appreciate it. Also your positivity and energy in your videos keeps me coming back as well.
