In Canada it is not illegal to run out of fuel. But some towns are 300km apart or more so some signs warn you to fill up before leaving. If not then you will either freeze to death or a bear or wolves will eat you because no one will probably be around to help you.

@@ukrecruiter8040 that’s something that always puzzled me. The fact that you might be in a border town and if you go for a walk you may end up in the neighboring country and you might not understand a single word of what they’re saying to you has always been mind blowing to me😅. Though if the languages of both countries are somewhat similar, you are able to understand certain things. For example, in my home region of Galicia (northwestern Spain) we have a native tongue that hails from the medieval version of Portuguese, so we are mostly able to communicate without issues with them (unlike many other Spaniards). Considering our languages are so similar, it’s easy to make out what they are talking to you about

@@moritzwei8812 I've watched a few TG and Grand Tour clips where you can clearly see major discrepancies with visible wristwatches. It jumps around in a way that doesn't make sense, the only way around that would be to ensure timepieces are obscured or removed. But you can't just tell James May to take his watch off.

Fuel mileage changes with speed. Cars tend to be most efficient around 55 mph (at least cars for American roads are, by design).
@cady79446 жыл бұрын
But on the German Autobahn you have to be at least 60 km/h fast
@PGraveDigger15 жыл бұрын
@@cady7944 55 mph is just over 88 km/h, so you can just drive 55 mph on the Autobahn.

The 55mph recommendation is "the most *efficient speed* you can travel in a car in terms of achieving the best fuel economy" (varies depending on the vehicle). The *optimum speed regarding fuel efficiency* is usually "between 35 mph (56 km/h) and 50 mph (80 km/h)". Internal combustion engine is at its peak efficiency @ max torque rpm.
