Why does this style of competition exist? The archers are shooting at animal targets, but they are not using equipment that is normally used in hunting. Why aren't they shooting NFAA Bowhunter class and Traditional class? The animal targets are placed out in the open, free from obstacles. Why aren't they placed near trees or brush that partially block the shot?

They are there was 102 total targets just as you described and there was many different classes. This is just the final shoot off for money
