I really appreciate your videos. I just decided a few days ago that I would learn Chinese. At my age (I'm 77), it would seem an exceptionally large task, but I have three things going for me. 1) my hearing is very good (for ANY age), so it isn't difficult to distinguish the various sounds. 2) I have a Chinese friend who has a lot of free time to help me and has experience with teaching, though not with languages (he is a retired economics professor). And 3) your very helpful videos. Thank you very much.
