This is absolutely fantastic! One small recommendation I’d make is to get a sheet of glass, or something of that kind, and lay it over the paper before taking the photo, that way it keeps everything flat, and prevents shadows on the edges of the models, keeping their shape consistent. This is similar to how it was done for the Monty Python animations, and the original Ivor the Engine
