PRODUCT UPDATES SINCE FILMING: I love the Curlific texture treatment. 100% recommend trying for color damaged hair, the way it improved my curl pattern is insane. However, it did not improve or minimize my hair loss/breakage :/

Dear Pamyla: Do not despair... I am older than you and when I went through my “blonde ambition” moment (LOL) I too experienced breakage... I was upset because like you I was and still am very consistent when it comes to caring for my hair. Try Olaplex products if you find you’re not completely happy with your current product results. Just a tip I would suggest using cold water to rinse the alpaghee products from your hair… any conditioner or treatment should be rinsed in cold water because it closes the strands properly.

This product works! Put the protein on and sit under the dryer. Let it get super hard.! Then rinse out

I stopped using the purple shampoo, it was too drying, so I bought the Aphogee shampoo, their protient treatment and their leave in conditioner. I have fine hair and the Aphogee products work- easy on the protien treatments- but I wash with the shampoo, I condition with Shea Moisturizing conditioner (cap under dryer), and use the Aphogee leave in- if I need to tone in between bleaching, I use the purple conditioner (delute the purple conditioner if needed so it won't stain). But your hair seems to be responding, looks cute- The struggle is real- keep it up. 🙂

I went to the salon and got my hair bleached, kind of honey blond and yellowish too. It’s been over 1 month and ever since my hair has just been breaking off and dry all the time. I’ve only washed it once which was 2 weeks ago and it was an absolute disaster. I’ve never dealt with tangled hair, sometimes nappy but never tangled until I washed it. Even having it under the water my hair was extremely dry😭 and breaking off. I haven’t even used a comb or brush since then, I only finger comb/separate now and it’s still falling out. I do the LOC method with a curl refresher spray, some doo grow oil, and TGIN daily moisture butter. Idk if it’s working. I wanted to do an Aztec clay mask but honestly I’m scared to wash it.

So sorry to hear that’s happened to you!! They definitely over processed your hair because that’s not normal and unfortunately that’s exactly what happened to me too! If you’re not willing to cut it I’d say to try a protective style and let your hair grow out some. Manipulate it as little as possible because that is going to make it break faster. 😩😩 I know how you feel, it’s so sad. Have you tried the Aphogee protein treatment?

I also don’t recommend the Aztec Clay mask, it has no protein and is more of a detox mask so it’s not gonna help the situation

@@pamylasworld Yeah I’m never cutting my hair again if I don’t have to lol. I got a pixie cut in 6th, my hair was a little past neck length, took 7 years to grow it back to that length😂 I haven’t tried the apogee treatment yet but I will definitely get it

As a professional protein is excellent to treat damage hair however it won’t happen instantly maybe after the second application u will start to see a difference.. I personally don’t like that protein but jherri redding is so hard to find

Wow, I’m going through the same thing right. I got my hair bleached at a hair salon and my hair has been breaking a lot. I bought the same combination of the Curlific Texture Treatment & the ApHogee 2-Step Protein Treatment. I was hoping the Texture treatment wasn’t for relaxed hair. I was debating on which to use first. I’m glad I found this video to fit my stressful situation lmfaoooo.

Damaged hair do not repair in one or two treatments you have to give it some more,and what I do I always deep treat my hair before I bleach it,

Alphogee is a really good treatment for severly damaged hair. Unfortunately you will have to use it more than once until you start seeing a change.

You should try Opalex it’s not a protein treatment but it repairs bonds in the hair AlexisKimberlly explains the product really well. Olaplex will get your curls back and stop the breakage

Thanks for the advice! I’ve actually already tried Olaplex (that was my first thought too) and unfortunately I used up the whole bottle and it didn’t fix it 😞 But thanks for sharing, I really appreciate it ❤️

Well when u find the product tht can stop breakage n grow it back to be uniformed let me know 😭, I was a first time bleacher n got too cocky on how my curl pattern didn’t change when I bleached my hair Two times WELP I completely ruined it by bleaching two extra times In a span of two months . I have broke off hair in so many please my hair used to be able to dry fast ina puff n now it’s so flat n uneven 😢. So I’m trying to get a good routine to grow it back but atp I may have to cut it all off to the scalp but I want to go to a curl professional before tht

I would also try out the curlific texture treatment because it really helps with the hairs elasticity but depending on the damage it can only do but so much, you know? Remember me when you get big mkay? Yea breakage is RUDE lol, we have all been there and just keep doing doing your treatments and find the right products that work for YOUR hair! I would recommend olaplex, I’ve never tried it so don’t take my word for it but I have heard great reviews about it! Also rice water, but don’t use it too much cause it is protein.

You’re not supposed to comb ur hair when you put the liquid in ur hair. That’s what caused more breakage. Your hair was hard
