His son is grown. Like Tip said whatever mistakes he makes he has to deal with and learn on his own, you can't baby him he in the man zone. You only raise and teach your kids the best way you can. When they get out there on their own you just hope and pray they apply your teachings to their life. And you have no idea what Tip has done with his son since just because you didn't see it doesn't mean nothing has been done. That's family time and if coaching or discipline is going to happen then it should be behind closed doors. Stop assuming and stop shaming.
