I know PS reasonably well as a hobbyist but now wanting to get better a AI so this was a good intro- I go to where u mentioned ORANGE then ended. I wud suggest perhaps you make it easier to recognise WHAT u r actually referring to when u say CMD / CTRL C n F re shape transformation coz the diction was very poor in the audio even at 0.5 speed. Will see how I progress thru the susbsequent videos - thnks for yr work on shedding light on Illustrator.

Orange! 🧡Loved this tutorial, thank you so much. 🙌 I'm diving back into Illustrator after a few years of not using it (first learned how to use it and Photoshop when studying Fashion Design in 2002 and have used it occasionally since then... used Photoshop much more) so, I not only needed a refresher of the basics but also needed a tour of the latest tools (Shape Builder is a game changer!) LOVE the way you break things down and explain them. You're my go-to for logo design and Illustrator tutorials. Thank you for being so awesome!

Hello Will... I took graphic design back in 2010... And although I ended up dropping out before I finished, I maintained a 4.0gpa the whole year and a half that I was in graphic design... So I still have my MacBook Pro that I bought in 2010 for school, as well as the Adobe Master Suite 4 I believe... My question is can I still use that old laptop and my old Adobe illustrator and Photoshop to create logos and possibly start a graphic design business today in 2024? Or would that not work for what clients would need? 🍊

2010 would be outdated and not able to receive any new updates from anything Adobe. My MacBook was 2013 and no more updates were available from Apple or Adobe.
