I guess Nomura wanted to turn down the gayness to make Kairi more prominent. But Sora and Riku had the Gayblade and Eternal Session in previous games so it's still kinda weird for them to not have anything this time

True End is also a similarity to Trinity Limit. The seven crystals could be an allusion to the Princesses of Hearts. Seven has always been considered as a holy number. The chakram could be a Keyblade transformation unique to Lea/Axel.

4:10 Ultima Magic, it's white magic, which is healing magic. Ultima it's an iconic spell of the FF franchise, it's one of the most powerful spells and one bad guy was so strong that he could spam it to destroy a whole planet(Kuja from FF9). You could say that on the KH franchise is light magic, but i don't think it fits. Because we have light magic, dark magic, black magic(Offensive spells such as fire, blizzard and thunder) and finally white magic(Defensive and healing spells such as Cure, Esuna and Protect).

Okay here me out... Sora and Riku’s attack is of two keys into one. Sora and Kairi’s attack is of angelic wings. Wouldn’t it make sense if Riku and Kairi’s attack be an impenetrable shield? And if that’s the case, imagine this...Sora, Riku, and Kairi’s attack is that of a Being made of light and darkness that is the embodiment of their friendship? Holding on it’s left is a shield, on its right, a sword, and on its back, angelic wings?

The Sora Riku and Mickey command, Sora's animation remind me of the Mushu summon in Kingdom Hearts 1 whenever sora summon Mushu (It almost looks like it. To my opinion)

Critical mode really didn't let you use the team attacks since everybody else just dies too fast before you can use them. I didnt even know about the trinity limit that riku and Mickey do with sora. That looked sick.

Sora’s and Riku’s team attack should have been something with the Light and Darkness keyblade with the hearts on top. I think it’s called the Galeblade? Anyways, that would be the perfect team attack

I didn't see anyone mention this but in aqua and vens team attack, its almost like a nod to BBS. How vanitas rode the keyblade tornado and used blizzard at the two of them and also how ven got frozen and his keyblade was frozen in the team attack as well as in BBS.

This may just be me contracting actual brainrot, but ever since I played Xenogears I can't help but see One Heart as a nod/homage on Nomura's end to Tetsuya Takahashi, who was very influential early on in his career at Square. In Xenogears, it's a big symbol to have dual one-winged angels, one masculine and one feminine, that only when they come together can they truly take flight. Nomura was originally working on Xenogears at Square before being pulled to work on Final Fantasy 7, so there is some crossing over of ideas between the two from Nomura.

I never saw True End before this video. Looks pretty cool. Like others have said, I'm disappointed Sora and Riku didn't get a team attack, but I'm also disappointed Sora, Roxas and Xion didn't get one. Can you imagine the combined power of the three Soras together?

Now this got me thinking that sora/roxas, roxas/xion, roxas/axel, riku/mickey should have had their own duo attacks in the game too, also a riku/kairi and maybe even axel/kairi due to their training together, but would sora/xion work or even sora/ventus? Sora and xion/ventus never personally knew each other but are so background-ly deeply intertwined that it's curious how they'd combine their attacks, then again roxas/xion don't even have a flowing unison attack despite their affinity to each other

True End seems to represent the elements of Fire (Red), Ice (Cyan), Lightning (Yellow), Water (Blue), Wind (Green), Light (White), and Dark (Indigo). Sad that they don't have Earth, but then again, it's the only element whose standard magic-Stone-hasn't been used at all in the series. Yet.

It’s not really a team attack but in the fight against Terra-Xehanort and Vanitas, if you play as aqua there is a chance you can use one of her other styles when the situation bar is filled (I can’t remember which style exactly)

Late, but better than never! In the order shown by the video, the memories show: 1. Early on the first game, Sora and Kairi sitting on the dock of their playground island at sunset, just before the night Destiny Islands is consumed by the darkness. 2. The "paopu sharing" drawing of the two at the Secret Cave in Destiny Islands. 3. Near the end of KH1, at the Traverse Town Secret Waterway, Sora holding Kairi's Wayfinder lucky charm in his hand, after rescuing her and promising to return it safely. 4. Kairi embracing Sora upon their long-awaited reunion at the World That Never Was, during the endgame of KH2.
