It’s not telling someone that worse things have happened to other people or that their problems aren’t a “big deal” In order to know what to say and how to say it you would have to go through it yourself and experience the loneliness and numbness. I was in the hospital 113 days.I can only use my left hand now but I don’t have good motor function like I can’t grab certain stuff I can only lift 4 pounds with it. I can only really feel my chest, head, and arms. I most likely will never walk again. Btw this happened randomly I was given a diagnosis but nothing caused it.

I remember after I had broken up with my first girlfriend I was 19 years old, she cheated on me. I was extremely broken up about it. I couldn’t stay around anymore so about 2 months later I packed my things into my car and decided to move across the country. 2 days into my journey, my ex-girlfriend sent me this song over Facebook. It was the first time she reached out since we had broke up, but by that point I was so over it. So anytime I hear this song, it doesn’t make me sad, it makes me happy because instead of sitting around being depressed dwelling on the past, I was moving forward with my life, and it brought me great satisfaction that she wasn’t... that was the last time we talked and I haven’t looked back since.

Truth is, He'll be fine without me. I believe he's strong enough. He never apologized for all the mean things he said and I don't need an apology, all I need to know is that he can find his happiness. He can find a girl that suits him and his needs, I just wasn't that girl. As much as he hurt me and made me feel so bad about myself, I'm letting go. I just hope one day, that he finds a girl that treats him well and can take his sadness, and magically fix him. I tried so hard for him, I tried. But I lost value for myself and I forgot about that. And sometimes we focus so much on another person, to where we completely forget about ourselves. And I know, I hurt him by letting go, because he lashed out and turned all my relationships useless. But I have to be honest, leaving was better, it was way more painful staying. And though as much as, leaving hurt and took a tole on everything, it was well worth it. But one day and I don't know if he'll get there soon, I do hope he finds peace within himself so he could love a woman the way you should love one. I just wasn't the one, so here's a little message for anyone that's in an unhealthy relationship A relationship should always be even, you have to give into that person and they have to give into you, but you should always care for yourself before anything. That's a simple mistake, caring so much about the person we're dating, but here is the thing. In order to give them everything you have to give yourself needs. You can't forget about yourself because when your left with nothing, you can't give them anything, because you have given it all away. I've done that throughout all of my unhealthy relationships, and in all honesty if you feel that your not getting much out of it, the best you can do is leave. And it maybe hard leaving someone you thought was the one, but sometimes letting go is easier and less painful then staying. Sometimes leaving is better off in the long run, it depends on the relationship. I hope this helped and through my many years of harsh relationships, I've learned to not be selfish but to always put my needs as a number one. It doesn't mean you don't have to care but it means you have to ration evenly between the two of you.

But what if he isnt strong enough...what if he tries to move on even though he doesn't want to..and gets hurt..he spirals and is left alone for the rest of his life but you wouldnt know that bc you moved on and he wouldnt tell you anyway. Now he feels hes wasted enough of your time. Maybe its a good thing for you not to be around him he thinks to himself. Hes now alone hopeless and can't move forward bc of mistakes of trying to move forward and is scarred for the rest of his life stuck in a life he no longer wants to be in. Just merely existing...i guess thats just life eh?

@@deatheffect575 I honestly think it depends on how you view it. I think everyone finds someone but you can't soak in misery. It's like the saying "you can't defeat your demons, if you enjoy their company". It is not my responsibility, in time he will find out how much he has wasted and he can change, if he chooses too. I can't force change upon someone who doesn't want to, they have to do that with themselves in time. And it takes time, it took me time but we get through it and that's what life is. It isn't just existing, it's getting through and accepting what comes your way.

This is heartwrenching to listen to. I saw this on an MTV like channel, and I loved it. I was abt 7. My life was good. The worst thing I had to worry abt is if I would get a happy meal that week. Since then, I've gone through foster care, diabetes with hospital visits nearly every month, my dad left and I've had to live with the grief for a year and a half, I wish I could go back. This song speaks volumes to me right now. She left on Easter, said she just couldn't reciprocate the level of love I gave her and she didn't want to have to fake it to make me happy. Even though we were only together a few months it still hurts. I can't force her to love me and I admire her for not dragging things out it kills me inside seeing how she's continuing on with her life while for the past 2 weeks I've been completely crushed. I want to hold onto hope she'll change her mind because she said I was the best boyfriend she's ever had and it was hard on her to leave but at the same time I don't think she'll come back.
