When I went to visit the Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, I would stay in Saint Catherine's and eat there. I also once stayed at the old inn in Niagara on the Lake. I never ate or slept over at the falls.

I prefer sleeping close to the action, but you are correct many better dining options away from the 'tourist' area.

I'm from the Falls and would not go there. Just like anywhere travel outside the tourist area's we do have better food I promise! lol Great honest review!

WOW!!!!! So glad you showed us the receipt on Imacs. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a ripoff.Apple juice $3.99 Coffee was $3.49 and Bottled Water was $2.99 . Those drinks should come with the buffet. The fruit is out of a huge can. HA HA HA HA what a joke!!!!!! Thanks for showing me the price up front. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a scam!!!!! Al Mac's is deciving, those prices you see, are for some reason in American funds, not Canadian, unless they changed in that couple of years, we live in the Falls, and went there once, and walked out after they told us Americian funds, and the buffet didn't look all that good. when questioned why US and not Canadian since were located in NF, they got rude. so we left, You ever come back to the falls, You have to stay and eat out of the Tourist section aka tourist trap,,,,, hit up the Flying Saucer. Its a dive, but good food. You pay higher prices in the tourist area, you have to gup the Lane and into the city for reasonable priced food. Capaccio's is a casual fine dinning and there good, McGillians good food, Wind sushi, Johhny Rocco's, Pho Xycol Vietnamise resturant is good too. Stay out of the tourist trap, eat where the local do. Lundy's Lane is the place you want to try food.

😭😭😭😭😭 Omgosh, it hasn’t changed!! I use to go annually to visit with fam. There was NOTHING good to eat. Even the chain restaurants are awful. I would always end up at an Indian restaurant buffet. We found Jamaican restaurant the last time. That was in 2011!

Real maple Syrup is very expensive yea.. I'm sure very few restaurants serve it

Sorry it didn’t look very appetising on camera - I’m checking out your video for our visit next summer - where’s the Indian, Chinese or even one Caribbean restaurant down there please if you have any info - maybe you could open an eating place down there - will be coming from uk 🇬🇧

try google maps.. there are 3-4 Caribbean joints but the reviews are mixed. One thing in common - terrible customer service. Watch the previous video you'll see an OK Indian spot at the top of Clifton Hill.

The food doesn't look all that good. The sausage are burned and the bacon looked like they broke it up in pieces. Chris your breakfast would look 💯 better to than that!!! The fruit out of a can was an insult!!! That restaurant needs a new chef and better cooks!!! I rate this restaurant on a scale of 1-10, a 1, because the only that looked decent was the 🥞!!!
