This was a good video food review. I think it is important to show the good and the not so good in food reviews. We have not been to the farmhouse for breakfast so we need to try it. The lunch there was about the same as you alls experience at the grill. For us restaurants like Cracker Barrel now has a better breakfast than their lunch and dinners. So we can see and understand that the Farmhouse Restaurant Breakfast would be better. Good to see your son in the video I think he is going to be a great food review reporter. God Bless you all.

I've never been to either of the restaurants there. But I've always been told by family and friends that the original farmhouse restaurant was better. Brooks, I understand the "redneck eggs benedict" comment.....that's east Tennessee talk (I'm from east Tennessee too.....Chattanooga area 😉). When I make the apple julep at home, I add more apple juice and less of the other juices.....because as you say.....the other juices kind of overpower the apple juice. My favorite place in the smokies for "made from scratch" biscuits has to be Log Cabin Pancake House in Gatlinburg. Their pancakes are awesome too. But there is none better at making apple butter than what you get at the Apple Barn......I buy that stuff by the case!! 👍
