Yank here, love the video and i grew up eating at Dennys when i was young. A&W rootbeer also had a diner but its long gone now but its good to see an American icon still hanging in there.

We have never heard of The Rootbeer dinner but I have drunken plenty of A&W. I guess that was before out time. Why do British people feel the need to say Thank You twice in 1 interaction? Always Thank you x 2 or 3..not necessary and you should tip on the original bill before discount. Tip should be $ 10…you really only tipped the server $4? That’s an insult to your server….Especially if you had multiple tea and coffee refills…inexcusable I’m afraid

My mum and dad brought me up with manners. The tip the customer pays is advised on the final receipt. We think the tip was more than fair. Thank you so much for watching and commenting

You did fine! We can’t all afford to enrich everyone everywhere we go. Atleast you gave them something. People can always work hard and move up in life rather than rely on handouts. I suppose making the employers pay employees more for work not requiring a degree isn’t enough. Why not push for $40 an hour or how about $50. The more you require these insulted employees to expect for little work, the closer they will be to being replaced by AI. Look at Mac Donald’s they are adding computers in place of workers. This is the new world!
