Stay there if it makes sense financially for what you want. I wouldn't worry about supporting the Trump family. They are wealthy and don't require sacrifices from ordinary consumers to help them.

There is a Denny's across the street if you are looking to eat on a cheap budget. I did it once during the ten day trip. The restaurants inside here and the embassy suites are obviously on a different level than Denny's.
