FUN FACT: cats sniff their humans face to make sure they’re still alive! After a couple days, if you didn’t move or breath, they’d start eating you. It happens all the time to old cat ladies. My fiancé is a firefighter so they’re responsible for lifting the bodies out of homes when people pass

I am the same as you Sierra! I refused to take medicine for my lingering cough, but I gave in and took NyQuil. I would say that helped me have an uninterrupted sleep and my cough was almost gone the next day!
