Yes it sure was Paul Da Vinci. The song was recorded before the Rubettes became a group with the only member from this recording to remain and later become one of the Rubettes being John Richardson (the drummer) who did the drums and spoke the (please take my advice) bit.

This movie has made me realize something... I'm an inverted transsexual... When I grew up I was like a boy, played with cars, mud and all that stuff... and now I just want to be a girly girl... I don't know if it makes sense to anyone... but it's like I still have that manly part in me... (I'm also bisexual) but... Yeah it's just a big revelation for me.

Very late comment, but I've exxperienced the same thing when I was young, when I had a very masculine and then very feminine personnaity and appearance. But now, I'm just a nice inbetween : a pansexual girl who accept both of her sides. Because I think we're not JUST masculine OR feminine, but a nice mix of both :)
