It’s serving it’s purpose. I don’t like them leaving home on an empty stomach. They are grown up and don’t like being fussed over so this way they can take whatever they want. Grown or not, I’m still their mum trying to make their life easier. 😉😉

This is supposed to be for large families and that too who like cold breakfast! In our family we prefer hot breakfast... anyways nice and thoughtful arrangements 👍👍 Appreciate!

Well noted. We have a fixed breakfast time at home. Hot breakfast is served at 8.45 am. However, if someone needs to leave early, they can still have something to eat. Technically, it isn’t cold if the milk for the cereal is warmed and boiling hot water is added to the oats. The option to have cold milk or spend 30 secs to warm it, is up to them. Glad you see the sentiment behind it. 🙏

This looks beautiful... a 5 star breakfast...but i prefer less packaged foods ..i make something fresh each day ...today breakfast was mung oats chilla with paneer ..with tea/ coffee n some fruits....i keep packs of peanut n chana n some protein granola bar in their college bags so they don't eat out ..n ofcourse 1 tiffin with some hot lunch...today i gave them tawa pulav....

How nice! Less packed foods come from my fridge every morning but this meant for the early bird who leaves before 8. Since we have multiple generations, we have fixed meal times to suit majority. If their schedule is different for the day, they manage with packet food. That’s my way of making sure everyone eats something in the morning. I will try anything that works to make the mini adults eat something before going to work.

How you do feel about the amount of plastic waste generated from single use portions vs a bigger box of cereal? Similar theme for other goodies. Looks cute but makes me feel guilty

Statistically, even if my boys buy food from outside, there will be packaging. We also careful that the wrappers are foil and not plastic (we try) - we dispose responsibly. I am doing my best to balance this with helping my children eat better in the go. A granola bar instead of a burger. A teabag instead of Starbucks. It may not be optimal but I am doing my best to find my balance. I’m sorry if this offends your priorities 🙏

@@RaveenaAtHome Appreciate your thoughtful response. I am not offended, just feel guilty to do the same. I love your idea with the reusable glass jars and might lean in and buying a big box of instant oats and pour them into the smaller jars instead of using individually wrapped oats packets. You needn't have too compromise with eating on the go, just might be a bit of extra work to portion out individual sizes from a larger container of breakfast goods or snacks :) I've had nothing but guilt once I found out that these simple plastics (my weakness, lays!!) are not recyclable. It's a tricky problem to solve overall but as you are one of my favorite influencers, I thought I'd share my thoughts with hopes that it sparks a conversation. So I appreciate your response and thank you for all the considerations!

Neela is right. These are from IKEA. I am honestly not a morning person. I tend to do it around midnight before I sleep. Somedays I do more, other days I keep it simple. It’s really working to get the mini men to eat healthier. They also grab snacks to take along because one is always on the move and the other isn’t a fan of his office cafeteria.

Everyday after you are done in each area, just put away anything you used and wipe off any stains. That’s sufficient to keep going until the next cleaning.

Here’s an idea that I use for clients. Have a dedicated basket for homeless things. One is each area. So if you have used it, put it back in there. As you can, try homing these items one by one. Throw out or donate what you don’t use in the baskets. At least you have a mid way home instead of clutter. Hope this helps.

Madam. Please clean your sink drain with dish soap and water. You are pouring food particles down to which it will clog the drain. Even if you washed dressy pots from butter, it will clog the drains. Just a little tip to keep drains clear of clogs as well.
