For anyone trying conchas for the first time. They’re meant to be kinda dry so u can dunk it in hot chocolate milk coffee or any hot liquid u prefer.

@@neham2056 to me it mostly tastes like whatever I’m dunking it in. 😅 by itself tho It’s a sweet bread but not as sweet as hawian rolls or donuts. Very filling and dense. Most Mexican kids I knew growing up would eat it with strawberry nestle milk.

Just an fyi, the cha in concha is pronounced cha like chair. Con-chuh like a sea conch which is where the name comes from bc the top looks like a sea shell.

After I graduated from college I went to culinary school and became a pastry chef for a while. It’s fun to learn the science behind it. But honestly working as a pastry chef in a restaurant sucks! Hated it! Stressful and it made me not want to bake and to this day I don’t hardly ever bake. And it made me lose my taste for sweets. 😝😝🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️✌🏻❤️👍🏻 love you!!

I love love love your videos sooo much, I work at a Mexican restaurant and for breakfast I had a papa a la Mexicana with cheese and bacon taco (fried potatoes cooked with pico de gallo) I know you would love it, with extra red salsa it’s bomb 💣 also it’s concha, pronounced like conecha, cha like “cha cha slide” lol if that makes sense, but the food looks amazing and I love your videos!! It must be nice to be able to eat a ton of fattening high carb food all the time for these videos and legit still be little. If I ate as much as you did I’d be a dang balloon. It sucks having slow metabolism. Pretty sure thyroid issues cause it too. But I get jealous watching the videos wishing I could just do this all the time lol.

There's actually not a huge difference between a "fast" and "slow" metabolism. Its very miniscule in the grand scheme of things nd it really comes down to your calorie intake which controls how much you gain/lose.
