@@patsnation8427 I respect that. When I refer to Lyricism, I’m not only referring to metaphors and such. Subject matter and relatability is a factor in lyricism for me, so I guess it can be subjective. He touches on stuff in his music that doesn’t have to be metaphorical but can still touch the mind and soul, which is a special type of poetic lyricism imo

Boog had a HUGE point about being afraid to heal because of his rapper image. The masses don’t want happy musicians. We want our artists to be tortured, and sometimes artists torture themselves for the sake of the art. I’m a big fan of MGK, and I see him as a big example of that

7:11 I’m sorry but I was dead at that part 😂 But this man boogie really one of my favorite artists, dude is talented af and is real af I’m his music. Shout out my barber for putting me on him when his album “everything’s for sale” came out, that was my most played album of 2019. It’s crazy that I resonate so much with his music, we both Virgos 😂 his name is Anthony and I as well have always gone by that all my life, and random af his last name is the name of the town I grew up in. Either way, this man deserves so much more recognition, he’s way too damn dope to be as slept on as he is, lyrically gifted, his music is relatable, and dude really has shown that he’s been working on growing as a person, not just an artist.
