NB: most artists in africa are big in their respective countries and regions. I feel you are big in Africa if you can sell out a big venue anywhere on the continent. I know the legendary SA artists did that while Wizkid, Davido, Psquare are selling out football stadia across the continent. Those are the people i'll say are big on the continent and not just in their countries.

Can you think of this. Dont only think Africa was the only place were countries were tooken rule of. Even in European countries, big countries would annex other European regions so this wasnt only an African thing And Africans themselves liked to place out land or their restrictions. Example Shaka Zulu had his own land so that was his kingdom. And then they were other kingdoms. Its a confusing concept to explain but Africa as one country would be a mess And now take in mind how corrupt African presidents are so imagine how big of a problem it would be if there was a corrupt president controlling billions of people and millions of land
