I believe Sheryl and her husband are introverts. Some of us don't feel the need to be up under our significant other all the time and enjoy our personal space and time. That's why you have to have those conversations before getting serious with someone. It is essential to understand their personality traits, especially if you are an extrovert and your potential partner is an introvert.

They’ve technically only been married for about 5 years (considering time spent together) and they only share the good times together. Kind of like visiting your noncustodial parent for the weekend. You don’t get fussed at. You get to go do fun things. Before you know it, it’s time to go back home. You leave feeling anxious because you can’t wait to come back!
@FemiBadru14 күн бұрын
Again,this is not weird at all. Regular people do this a lot. Where I come from it is perfectly normal. My Dad worked in a different city for years. My mum went from visiting every 2 weeks to every 2 month to him visiting once a month till he retired. However those kind of relationship come with a compromise,if you are not disciplined especially as a man,please avoid it. Almost every couple I know who have done this don't want their kids to do same because it enables cheating. So couples just allow themselves to cheat,it is like an unwritten agreement. The problem i have with couples who encourage or practice this openly is that they are never open about their compromise. She goes on about how him and her have their lives but what are the concession they had to allow that many people won't. If anyone thinks that those two are not creeping on each other then they are naive.

As young people you are not supposed to understand how that process works, but as you get older and have 30 plus years in a marriage, TRUST ME, as long as both folks are secure, it can and will work. She has a rare man because most men are needy and their ego's won't allow them to think outside the box. They would rather divorce, move on and ultimately end up in the same situation over and over. Women have learned how to be secure and happy with or without men.

Every 2 weeks is perfect! There’s that thrill and excitement when you miss one another but it’s not so spread apart that you barely see your person. You never lose that desire for your partner. Plus you both get to maintain a sense of self and never feel impeded upon or like you’re losing yourself. Can’t tell you how often longterm couples divorce or breakup and then say things like “I don’t know who I am without my ex…” because their WHOLE life was about their partner and/or kids. Or these long term couples grow tired and lose desire and spice because it’s the same thing or they’re ALWAYS around one another without healthy space. This arrangement is perfect for two independent people that deeply love and trust one another and don’t want to impose on one another. But everyone should focus on what works best for THEM…that’s the only way for true peace in life!

I feel like this is something foreign to most ppl because we were conditioned to be codependent and competitive towards each other which is something their relationship lacks which allowed them to grow‼️‼️🌺💓

Just because it doesn’t work for one couple doesn’t mean it can’t work for another. The kids are grown, they have the power to travel, vacation, and spend as much time as they want to with each other when they want to. It sounds perfect to me.

Omg! My boyfriend and I see each other every 2 weeks and we’ve haven’t lived in the same state for 3 years (been dating 5). Honestly I couldn’t see myself doing this while married but it works for us! I get so many questions about it that the phrase “long distance” is so annoying and honestly triggering lmao . I only clicked to come to the comments to say this is straight up nonsense. Some of y’all don’t need to be married. Someone always comes along to co-sign some bs by saying “whatever works for them”…why? just because they hung on to it for 20+? Yeah ok 😂… marriage is supposed to be a holy and sacred UNION…where you forsake all others and cleave to one another and become one. So if the idea of co-habitation with the person you claimed to God and witnesses that you were becoming one with makes you feel so suffocated and lost, then you are not worthy of marriage. There are PLENTY of ways to have healthy boundaries and miss one another. Everything these ‘god of this world’ worshipping ‘celebs’ do is not to be celebrated.

Almost made no mistakes for the whole segment…until she said Scott is Khloe’s brother’s ex, then said he has all his kids with Khloe instead of Kourtney, then just said a bunch of her usual whatever’s…cause who cares about what she reports, she could care less about doing good in this segment or paying attention during interviews or just being involved in general or contributing or giving pretty much any value to the show, but hey, at least she’s getting paid right, that’s all that matters 👌🏼👌🏼 🙇🏻…well, whatever, I guess her one day of the week that she shows up and tries a little bit went pretty well, she only completely one of the stories she reported this time😊🙌🏼!!!! 🤦🏻♂️😒😞😞….
