These videos are like gospel for me! Thanks for the tips that help me slowly develop into a competitor at my club. Its so satisfying to be able to give better players a decent game. From Conwy, Wales!

Glad it actually helps. I know it works but it’s good that people can understand what I’m explaining

@@BreakfromlifeI still don't quite understand the point about imagining where the cue ball is when it hits the object ball. I think I'm getting it though! Ty

Loved the cushion tip. I always struggle when potting off the cushion because I went out of my way to avoid the tip touching it!

I think the difficulty with snooker is after a good while practising, its hard to tell if you're improving anymore. Once you've got a good foundation of the basics, where do you go from there to up your game?

Always good to revise on these tips again to make sure you are using the right way to improve

Practice potting the colours off the spots until your bored to death doing it and it becomes second nature ,when you can do that every time practice potting the colours off different spots, the wrong spots so you have to work the cue ball all over the table to clear .practicing this regularly will improve your position greatly,the line up is ok but it gives you too many options ,the line should be completed with clearing the table completely.

- Consistent head-position in relation to the cue: I struggled so long with so many shots somehow looking weird when aiming (and then of course missing them) until I realized I needed to move my head further left (or right) to have my eyesight line up with where the cue is actually pointing to.

I have to know how you fastened that white ball to the cue-stick. I feel it would be a great training aid to have to shoot with such a stick.
@justme.971116 күн бұрын
get a cheap or spare cue, remove the tip and use 24 hour araldite, or drill a hole through a white and use a long thin screw or bolt and araldite. I would try getting a polystyrene ball from a craft/hobby shop if you could get the right size and use that, MUCH lighter.

I've been playing on a Xing Pai Star table, and boy oh boy you have to be solid to pot balls on it. It's unforgiving, you can't bargain with it, it will spit your pots back.
