I think it’s cuz the top 32 format. Other rounds are more hype. They have 2 cyphers going on at the same time because there are so many crews, so the crowd is split and half the time paying attention to the other battle across the room.

Ngl I’ve been to Freestyle Session multiple times. The prelims to top 32 pretty much take all day. After a while of cyphering then watching the battles, you’re burnt tf out until the main event.
