The Genshin team DOES NOT LISTEN TO PLAYERS! They do whatever they want. I have been complaining for 3 years straight about rewards and many, many other things. They added alot of the things I was suggesting to HSR and it is evident that they get QOL improvements at a faster pace than Genshin. I am still super angry about the current state of Dehya. I have not even got to the rewards yet, especially the anniversary rewards. Other gachas get like 100 free pulls, free skins, large amounts of ingame currencies ect. What do we get? A non combat pet and a 10 pull. I am not spending a dime at HYV until they wake the hell up. They will not change unless we complain so keep complaining everyone.

All of this rant happen because of HSR dev are giving everything genshin player want for the past 3 years in just mere few months. - Free standard 5 star at 300 pulls - Alot of permanent endgame contents Meanwhile in genshin, we get some repetitive kids mini game in every event, virtual card game that most people dont care. Its really funny considering genshin combat system are more focus on endgame rather than hsr, the artifacts farming, constellation effect per unit strength, weapon power gap. But you are stucked with same spiral abyss for 3 years while hsr get multiple SU and multiple forgotten halls contents. So much of anxiety issues.

One thing that needs to change is artifact rng. As a veteran player who has almost every character I have less and less mood to pull for new one just because I know it will take me months, or year to finally build them (not some godly stats, but a good ones) We need better systems to control rng and have ability make sets in reasonable amount of time. Plus the standard banner needs much more pulls to be even viable. Like one pull each day and then much more from BP and monthly shop.

It's pretty obvious why HYV doesn't treat genshin the same as HSR, they want to have a monopoly over the western gacha market and to do so, they use Genshin as an ad to incentive new gacha players to play their other games like ZZZ and HSR. Honestly, it's typical from Genshin to give the bare minimum. It's so sad, because it doesn't cost them a thing to give a 5 star character and a skin. We were disappointed with the 1st Anniversary gifts and complained, yet all Genshin did was remove comments. We were unhappy with the 2nd Latern Rights and complained, all Genshin did was block comments from being made on all social media platforms. So it's not that we don't raise an uproar when we know we are being treated unfairly, and given a pittance, WE do..but Genshin hushes Global players. It's not okay. A lot of QQL things I, And many others want in Genshin, Go to HSR. Increased Resin, Endgane content, being able to replay events and their story(Something that will be expanded on in 2.0), Etc... Not to mention the rewrads. I'm sick and tired of the treatment that we get. The free Dr Ration was the straw the broke the camel's back for me. A free limited 5 star, And not only that, HE'S ALSO REALLY GOOD. I am so angry right now... What can I do? Where can I complain? I'll do it. I hate them. A lot of the genshin dev put effort into their game. So why? Why can't they be more genrous? I love Genshin but oh boy they never change. I'm having hope that Wuthering Waves can help me switch. I know it's hard to quit out cold, I have that issue. From what ive heard about the skin selector is that its exclusive in only China and that you have to buy a PS5 bundle. Youll get other rewards like mora, primos, and exp books. I think its kinda dumb cause you can just buy the skins in the shop for less anyways.

I play both games and honestly there are stuff in HSR that should ABSOLUTELY be in genshin but hoyo won't add them for some reason, like the higher trailblaze power (HSR's resin system) where we could have up to 240 at a time, AND have a max of 2400 reserves in case you don't use it after it's fully restored, and the 10 free pulls with every patch, and being able to select which standard 5 star character you want after 300 pulls. There's also being able to fight multiple fights at the calyx (HSR's ley line) multiple times in a row instead of running from one place to the next, I admit that last one isn't a big change but i feel that it would be faster and smoother if we could fight 4 ley lines one after the next in the same spot, or if we could challenge a domain for multiple times in a row and get all the rewards from those fights, they're not much but they're good QoL improvements. I know there're bigger problems but I'm not far enough into genshin to know about them yet, but genshin definitely needs to be more generous with their rewards

You dont even get a full wish for floor 12 which is insane and not worth trying to 36 star the abyss at this point. More resin like in Honkai and also better aniversary rewards.

There is one thing that worries me about this whole situation. While the real objective of the community has been about the qol features and endgame content Genshin has needed for the longest time, the spark that set the drama aflame was the free 5* I fear that the Genshin management team will just brush this off as a "they just want more free stuff". Then they give a free cloud retainer, the simps come back barking and then it goes back to what it was, nothing of value gained While I also think a free 5* is long overdue. The situations in which Dr. Ratio was given are very different that of Genshin, since HSR won several prizes across game awards, and I still remember the whole drama that people did to try forcing genshin to win an award just to get a free 10-pull

Only difference - Honkai Impact 3rd and Star Rail's director is David Jiang. Genshin's producer is Cai Haoyu, someone who destroyed Honkai Impact 3rd when it first came out, then Jiang took over and fixed everything

Boycotting genshin will not do anything because Hoyo hates players who are not Chinese. If they can happen to get some money from us it cool, but they will never put any sort of effort into making the game better for us. Im pretty sure with the Chinese players revolting hoyo will just give extra rewards for Chinese players and no one else
