Great job casting at champs. Love to see you go from challengers casts to casting some of the biggest games of the year at champs. You should also check out Edgewater Golf Club in SC. Played it a few times and been my favorite course ever since I first went. Love SC/NC golf!!!!

Yo! Heading to north myrtle beach soon and saw you played a few of the nicer courses there. Which ones do you recommend for pure quality and scenario the most? Thanks in advance!!

North Myrtle? Thistle was really fun but otherwise Dunes Golf and Beach is a must, also enjoyed Grande Dunes and Kings North at MBN

@@PerfectlyAverageGolf thanks, was torn between tidewater and Caledonia / true blue. But I’ll be sure to check out kings north!

@Dustin031 Caledonia and true blue are south myrtle in Pawleys. Tidewater is worth as well

@@PerfectlyAverageGolf looks like kings north is under construction for remodel. Narrowing it down to Thistle, Grande Dunes, and Tidewater! Thank you. Think I’m leaning tidewater.

Hey man, I mentioned this course a few vids ago but I recommend you go try River Oaks in Statesville. Currently 0 videos on youtube of that course. Well worth the money and you’ll have the only content on the site.

Is not a lost ball a two stroke penalty? I keep asking people. Taking the distance off the tee shot instead of a 3-off-the-tee is 4th shot, isn't it? Otherwise why take a provisional? Not being a downer, just genuinely doing a consensus. Great playing, either way!
@nicolasgoodman90314 ай бұрын
Depends on whether it’s red or white stakes. Most amateur golfers play 3 from where it went out either way unless in a competition.
@Burkwood4 ай бұрын
@@nicolasgoodman9031 I've watched videos about the USGA making the rule that a lost ball is 2 strokes, so that you don't have to walk back and retake the shot, to keep pace on local courses. It's just like three off the tee. If you play the provisional it's your fourth shot. If you went back and retook the shot it would only be a one stroke penalty. But that would slow the course down. Losing your ball off the and only taking a one stroke drop would a provisional pointless, wouldn't it?
@PerfectlyAverageGolf4 ай бұрын
Technically this is right but we typically call gallery rules with the guys I play with (aka if there were spotters or a gallery, would it have been found?). I'll typically just take stroke and distance though if I drive up and it's white stakes and I don't know the course. This was one of those instances that we both thought it would have been findable if we took 3 minutes or had spotters so we just play it as lateral. I'll be honest, I think most people are too critical on playing 100% to the rules considering pros get perfect conditions, spotters, and a gallery.

@@PerfectlyAverageGolf That is a great point. Thank you for your insight. I love your channel. Thanks for answering. Rule 18 is 2 stroke penalty?
@patersonplankrd3 ай бұрын
No.. Two types of rules cover lost balls. One...If in the event of a ball lost and the player and the player is certain or virtually certain the ball lies within a penalty area, the player may proceed under the rule 17 (penalty areas). If the ball is lost in a non penalty area, the player must proceed under Rule 18 (Lost ball) which is simple. PLayer must proceed using "stroke and distance". I've played this course dozens of times. Several years ago, a friend of mine was the General Manager . Tradition is a tight course Lots of holes bordered by trees,. So he created a local rule which deemed all wooded areas to be Penalty areas. It sped up play quite a bit. To my knowledge, this local rule still is in force

Go back and watch each swing. Your control is off because your moving the head down 1 to 2 inches on each swing. I guarantee if you keep your head level, your swing will feel 100 percent different. I struggled with the same thing til I did it. It's totally a different feel just by not moving the head. The club faces glides through anything you hit. It's amazing. Just do it

Dumbest shit I've ever heard. Do you keep your "head level" when you walk?

Not trying to be a hater, just like to help people with their golf game. I've been playing golf for 50 years and have seen many different types of swings. Every time you miss a fairway, you give up. 4 shots. Every time you miss an approach shot or miss hitting a par 3, you lose .7 shots.
