I think Sayin told the staff he was leaving and Coach DeBoer went and got his replacement. If they don’t want to win with Bama, let ‘em kick rocks. I think Bama will be in contention for the Title next season with this awesome staff and more determined players who WANT to be at Bama and not to just play for a specific coach. RTR!!!

Well I do understand us having a new coach and that he's going to want to put his own personal in place BUT AT THE SAME TIME ALL OF THESE OFFENSIVE PLAYERS have been studying under Tommy Reese, including our GREAT QB Jalen Milroe. I can't help feel that our new coach should have kept Tommy Rees in place & Kevin Steele for that matter as well. They are both very good & competent coordinators. AND it's bad enough Saban is leaving but with Saban leaving these kids have to deal with an entire new staff coming in? Imho not very smart.

After the year Bama just had, I don't see another QB taking Jalen Milroe's job. But I also think it's a mistake to change offensive coordinators. The new Coach is OF COURSE going to want his own personal but I think he would have done better keeping both Coordinators in place. If Rees & Steele were not good at what they do Saban would NOT have hired them!!!!

Nick Saban waited until Julian’s first day of classes to make the retirement decision. That’s on him, he waited too late. Julian has 30 days to hit the transfer portal, but he doesn’t have 30 days to register for new classes. He had to get out quick if he was going to.

Coach Saban has completely destroyed this Alabama team with his unprofessional announcement of his retirement. This is what happens when a coach does a knee-jerk reaction instead of planning out the process. Alabama continues to slide in rankings, and my projection was that by February 2024, all the dust would have cleared, leaving Bama at the bottom. As I stated before, the new Bama HC will need to go through the TP just to have enough players to make the roster. Saban is a self-centered individual who was only thinking about himself when he announced his retirement, which he knew was going to happen at the beginning of the season. I will NEVER show any more respect to Saban from this point on.

I did think he would have coached until his contract was up, but i also expected him to retire before now to concentrate on his family and Nick's Kids.
