Great video as always, the most noteworthy is definitely when Jesse enters the super lab and his total opposition to what Walt is describing what he's looking for 😭. It's so good and honestly how you do humor and make it work, because it's still realistic and is dramatic, being incredibly ironic but working so well as well as not being forced compared to "well that just happened" type of forced humor from the marvel movies lol. This is not forced and therefore is way funnier! Situational humor using the context of the scene and the buildup of all the episodes leading up is such a payoff for viewers.

6:45 this is interesting! I absolutely love film and the true raw nature of it in Breaking Bad worked perfectly. However when they switched to digital for Better Call Saul I really liked that too!! So fun fact, that isn't the only time we see a spec on the film, I noticed while watched Season 1, Episode 7, around 42:30 you see a spec around Walts head as he's asking Skyler "What if it was me?". Its hard to spot but it is there.

However, depending on the state and what the responders actually are (there are varying levels of EMT and Paramedic, again, generally varying by state), they may or many not be able to start IVs. In New Mexico, you have to be an EMT-I (Advanced EMT) or a Paramedic. So if they are all just EMT-Bs, then they can't start IVs. That said, it is generally uncommon (and sometimes against the rules) for there to not be an EMT-I or Paramedic on the team, especially in urban areas. I love that you pointed this out!

It probably wouldn't work because the relationship between Gus, Walt, and Jesse was built on manipulation and distrust. Walt’s desire for control would clash with Gus’s need for total dominance over the operation. Additionally, both men were trying to pull Jesse in different directions-Walt manipulating him emotionally and Gus seeing him as a potential replacement for Walt. Jesse’s instability and unpredictable behavior, coupled with the mutual suspicion between Walt and Gus, would inevitably lead to conflicts and make a successful partnership nearly impossible.

It definitely wouldn't last long, but it *was* a pretty bad choice for Gus to allow Walt to fire Gale. You'd think he'd want to try to give Gale a chance to keep learning and replace them. I guess at the time, Gus thought Walt could work long-term. 🤷‍♂️

This channel is bursting my belief that Breaking Bad was almost infallible. It's disappointing that they bungled the EMT dialogue so badly at the start of the episode. Like how difficult would it have been to consult with one of the EMTs on constant standby at almost every single filming location? Pull one of them aside and ask: "What kinds of things would an EMT say as a critical patient is wheeled into the hospital from the ambulance?" It would've taken all of 2 minutes, and it would've gone far to preserve a realistic tone to the show.

I started doing something similar to what you describe (at least a BrBa logo and S#E# and the title starting with "Breaking Bad [Episode Title]: ") but when I tried something different it *seemed* to get more reach. But it's really hard to tell what triggers that sometimes! For example, I tried something more vague and mysterious for the Peekaboo video, and it seemed to do better. The best performing breakdown video has been Mandala, and for awhile I thought it was due to the simpler thumbnail with a bright background, but I now think it was more about the "cringe" part of it. :) I've got one video (not an episode breakdown) that has gotten over half a million views and tried to learn some lessons from that, but it's hard! I'll keep experimenting, though. Thanks again!

Yeah I guess at the end of the day it's just a trial and error thing. Was just a thought that crossed my mind you are the KZbin guru not me so do what's best. I will enjoy your regardless of how the thumbnail looks

0:42 as an EMT, at least in Pennsylvania, you cannot start an IV or give intravenous drugs that being said, I won't say I haven't seen it
