Besides the fact that none of the awards shows are actually real, you're essentially saying an AI can make something of equal or better quality than no country for old men (for example). AI can't make new things, it can only create things based on the information it's been fed, and true creative masterpieces are much more than that. And even if AI was able to match human creativity, I would still prefer art that was made by actual people.

@@shamancredible8632 you should get busy with some education about good writing. More than 90% of books and screenplays written is just out-of-context existing plot rewritten into other context. It is no secret, that many of the best writers of movies are big movie nerds, because they know best what to (re)use and what to try. My comment however was not even strictly ruling out humans, as I said, the first guys who make proper use of AI. So AI has to make nothing on its own, but it has the ability to perfectly put things into different context. I would prefer whatever feels good, "as a show". Doesn't matter to me, who or what designed it.
