Don’t kill yourselves trying to be politically correct. Just say what you want and don’t let anyone get under your skin. This show was made to tell a story in a way to make you root for the anti-hero. Embrace it for what it is. It’s OK to like the bad guy, the good guy, and everyone in between. It's why I don't get these Anti-Walt or Anti-Skylar groups. They aren't one dimensional characters and they aren't in a one dimensional show. Frankly, treating it as such is a insult to Breaking Bad. Just my thoughts on Skylar. Everybody likes to hate Skylar, but it was understandable what she did. Was it morally amazing? Of course not. But Walt pushed her so far (just like how he'r ruining Jesse's life.) She wanted him out, wanted him away from her kids because she's afraid of what he's become. What if a drug deal goes wrong and the ''badguys'' come knocking at the door? Skylar's trust as also been crushed by Walt. He kept secrets, he's been cooking Meth, terrible stuff. Lets not forget that Meth isn't harmless Marijuana. Weed makes you happy and calm. Meth destroys lives and he's a part of an industry that literally kills people, not the drugs alone but also look at the whole cartel side and the drugdealer side. ''But Walt just wants to provide for his family.'' I'm sure that's not something a judge would roll with. Skylar told Walt to leave, she didn't want to report him to the cops because that would've torn her family into despair. He didn't want to leave, well then she opened up her legs for Ted, to push Walt further away. Is it the adult and morally great thing to do? Of course not. But lets not act like they were in a loving marriage. She wanted out, made it clear to him, but he just didn't want to listen. Everything in this show isn't purely black and white, there's a lot of grey and what Skylar and Walt are doing is both extremely grey. So just picking 1 side is extremely moronic. But it IS understandable what Skylar did. AND BY THE WAY, don't misunderstand this as me saying I'm cheering on what she did or loving what she did or saying it was the right thing. Nope, but it was understandable. Things you can understand are still things that can be wrong. Skylar isn't a saint, but the hate she got and still is getting is ridiculous.

Yes it is understandable what skyler but did but it also shows her true personality which is a spiteful bitch. A divorce would ruin the family so I will cheat on my husband? That doesn't work mate. I'm not saying Walt is free of blame but skyler definently deserves hate.

First off, living with a drug dealer is basically no more dangerous for the family than living with a DEA agent, or a prosecutor. 2nd issue the way Skylar walked up to him, looked him dead in the eye (basically got in his face ), and said IFT. That was purposefully malicious. She intentionally hurt the man who she guilted into getting chemotherapy. Her husband who offered her a large bag full of money (money for which he almost died for, more than once). Of all the bad things Walt did, he never *intentionally* hurt any of the people he claimed to love(at least up to this point in the series). This is moment that made me hate Skylar (it never had any thing to do with her being in Walt's way). ...ok I will admit I have never forgiven her for that lousy hj she gave in the pilot. That's at least part of why I never liked her.

And Gretchen and Eliot already offered Walt money so skylar already knows that saying it was for his family is bullshit, as Walt himself admitted In the finale of the show. Well, between cheating on your spouse that kills no one and cooking meth that does kill people, I believe cheating would be the better option every time.
@jmwild15 жыл бұрын
I guess there's no cheating to defend, maybe that's it. Skyler wants a divorce, doesn't want to see Walt anymore, Walt refuses to cooperate. How do you cheat on someone who is only your husband on a legal document? My sister ran into an issue with her husband where they separated and he refused to sign divorce papers. She moved on with her life dating other people. That's not cheating. Now in Skyler's case of course she was banking on being able to drive Walt away by banging another guy, because she understood he didn't want the divorce so she was going to use that against him.
@Alex_Johnson_5 жыл бұрын
She already made it known that she had no interest in being with him. They are only together in a legal sense. You can't force someone to be in a relationship with you.
@jmwild15 жыл бұрын
@Alex Johnson There are solutions in the event your spouse refuses to proceed: sue for divorce. But as Skyler explains to her attorney, it means exposing their financials and there *will* questions about Walt's income and his ability to pay for his treatments without insurance and on a teacher's salary, and she doesn't want to destroy her family for the sake of getting Walt out of her life. So yeah I totally agree, and if she wants to start a new relationship in this situation, go for it. Of course her motives in this case are spurious. :)
@Alex_Johnson_5 жыл бұрын
@WeeItsNookies Are we really going to pretend that Walt is doing all of this *solely* to provide for his family? If that were the case, Walt would have taken the job that Gretchen and Elliot offered him. Walt is doing this because he felt weak and wanted to feel powerful. He didn't want to take "charity". All of these problems can be sourced back to his pride. And because of Walt's ego, he is putting his family in danger by engaging in criminal activity. If his family was home when those Cartel twins came to their house, they would be dead right now. But he is willing to take that risk because he is too arrogant. I really don't know how anyone can actually justify Walt's actions. He is 100% in the wrong here.
