I think Rana missed a point about Hank a little bit - it's not about going after Heisenberg but rather NOT going to El Paso. The PTSD & anxiety he feels are what drove him to say no, not so much an ambition to catch Heisenberg. That's more of an excuse even though he justifies his own actions through that.
@kaneinight5 жыл бұрын
100% on point. The trauma and PTSD from what happened when he first went is why he's trying to use the Heisenberg case as an excuse to not go back.

@crepperwlp5 жыл бұрын
I actually think is a lot of factors. There is the PTSD, the fact that he hated El Paso and didn't liked the cops there, also he was already really commited to finding Heisenberg. So stay was pretty much an obvious choice.
@zdiegi5493 Жыл бұрын
@@crepperwlp Yeah, I think it is mostly about not going to El Paso. That said, I think it also starts to become a self-fulfilling prophecy: He actually starts to really want to catch Heisenberg just because he's been convincing himself long enough that he does.
@Hexon66 Жыл бұрын
I disagree. Heisenberg and the blue have been a quest for him the entire series. It's what he loves and what he's good at. That he's failed, and in all probability, will fail again in El Paso, is a convenient excuse for him to stay where he's comfortable. After all, it's Marie who's the social climber, albeit with sights higher than El Paso.

Thank you for giving Skyler some appreciation despite everything she's doing with Ted. It's so easy to hate Skyler, and even big BB fans don't like her. However, I think people often overlook the fact that she willingly is allowing her entire family to see her as the bad guy rather than tarnish everyone's perception of Walt. Her son shows so much disdain for her, and it would be so easy for her to just lash out and scream about how dirty Walt really is. Yet she just grits her teeth and takes it. And to this day, Skyler is still probably the most hated character on the show. smh
@suinade53845 жыл бұрын
So what Team Cap said is totally understandable, but really those are "feelings" and moral subjective standpoints. The reason I dislike Skyler is because of her total hypocrisy. She stopped dealing with Walter because he's a dirty drug dealer and didn't tell her.. causing trust issues. But who is it that she turns to? A dirty con business man who's been siphoning money from his own company. The difference? None, really.. they're both criminals. Therefore, she's just acting off of blind emotion and she's only thinking about herself. She did it entirely to hurt Walter, because she felt she needed control in the situation. She cheated on her husband for being a criminal/liar, with a criminal/liar. See my point?

But I felt that principal was on his shit earlier in the series. I completely disagree with the girls analysis of this episode. Skyler is hypocritical because Ted is doing criminal activity and she is accepting him. She better not move in with him. He is a crook. She is a shit mom. Smoking when pregnant and around the baby. She doesn't give a shit about Ted. Walt feels bad about Jane, but he didn't make the girl get high the night before going to rehab. He didn't make her father return to work before he was ready. It's not all his fault and he does feel some guilt about it.
