Gustavo, was in a way, a tragic hero. It shows what one has to become in this world, in order to get what one wants, Justice/Vengence. As well as power, the power to determine one's own destiny. knowing what we know about Gus in the beginning, during their first meeting with Don Eladio and Hector Salamanca, can we really call him a villain? Planning/waiting for decades to get his revenge.

@@shashankashura1654 Yeah I agree to that. Gus had two different persona. One was a professional businessman. A man who is the owner of a successful food chain who is also recognised as a good responsible citizen as he contributes to many nobel causes. Not to mention supporting the DEA But behind the door,he is a notorious meth kingpin. One thing we can notice about Gus. Be it chicken, laundry or meth,he always maintains a disciplined professional approach. He doesn't even like meth. Doesn't trust methheads. Yet he is such a successful meth dealer. He doesn't want anyone to make the same mistake twice. So it's a perfect scene when he adjusts his tie and make him look presentable even right before his death. Yes I get that chain reaction but the fault really lies with jesse and Walt because even after the dealers getting murdered by Walt, gus let it go and even brought jesse into the mix eventually. Jesse actually wised up towards the end there with gus, but Walt on the other hand.... After the episode "the fly" Walt really goes nuts and just assumes gus is going to kill him after the 3 months. +Thom ' I was listening to a "Inside Breaking Bad" for "Face Off." Giancarlo said it wasn't only revenge that fueles him but also, the fact that Hector was a rat.
